I cannot see how to edit the pink section left hand side on the home page of the codex template.

  Excellent video, but not what I was referring to.

  See image it's the pink side section I cannot edit.

  Hi Ray

  To delete the light pink color on the left, 

  1. Click on the corner of the left column
  2. Select the color icon.
  3. Under the Shadow tab, delete the value "-20"

  Yes, I see, obvious now,

  I do wonder if there are manuals for these themes, to advise on build features.

  If not it might save many people asking questions about the same things.
