Problem using brizy global blocks
Hello there,
To start working on the english pages of my french website, I duplicate thanks to a wordpress clone tool all my pages.
But the duplication was not perfect for my Home page and for another one (Excursions). One block was missing for both of them.
So I found a solution : I went to Global blocks in Brizy and there I found my disappeared blocks.
But then, as I was working on my english pages "twin" of the french ones, I noticed, too late infortunately, that the english version back-up blocks had changed my french blocks ! So now, my french website has got 2 blocks in english !!
My 1st question is, how can I get back my french texts without losing all the work I did today to translate my website in english (I have updraft plus but I do not want to restore my website of yesterday, I want to keep things I did today. I just need to find again my french writings but I do not know where I can see them) ?
My second question is how can I get those blocks separated so that if I modify the content of one of the 2, the other one is not affected.
Thank you for your help;
Ondine.

( 1st Problem is on Home page : 1st writings on the big pic are in english)
(Second problem on Excursion page : the 2nd block, just below the title, is totally in english).

Hi Ondine
We are sorry about the trouble you are facing with the global blocks. All pages with a specific global block will have the exactly same content. If you make a change to a global block, the changes will reflect on all pages where the block is added.
When you edited few French global blocks in your English pages, you made a permanent and irreversible change to those global blocks. Your only option are to either recreate the French blocks or recover it from your backup.
The right procedure is to import the global block, save it (by clicking on the 'heart' icon) and then translate it. When you import a saved block and edit it, changes get saved to the block you are editing and other similar blocks on other pages are unaffected.

Thank you George for your explanations. I do not see where I can import the global block and save it. Here are some screeshots. Thanks for your help, Ondine. Envoyé avec la messagerie sécurisée ProtonMail (https://protonmail.com/) .
