Categories not being displayed

Hi, i just added the "Post" element to a page in my WP site, however the filtering option doesn't work: I can't select an existing category that has already been applied to some articles.

I tried to delete and re-add again the category and the element itself within the page, but nothing works.

  Hi Alessia

  One possible reason for this could be an incompatible theme you are using. Can you try changing your theme to one of these and see if that helps? https://www.brizy.io/theme-partners

  Thanks, however I have set in the past a similar page with the same settings and a different category, and it works normally. Same theme, nothing has changed, so I doubt that would be the case. But any way thank you for the input, I'll keep this in mind!
