transfering domain to existing Brizy cloud project?
Is it possible to start work on a Brizy cloud project and then add the custom domain to it after the site has already been designed? The use case here is for a project that is already live and hosted elsewhere but undergoing a redesign and I don't want any down time, so would like to have it finished before I update nameservers, cname, a records, etc. Thanks in advance.

Hi Timothy
Yes; you can redesign your website in Brizy Cloud and publish it initially using a subdomain like domain.brizy.site. Once the project is complete, you can setup your custom domain with Brizy Cloud and the domain transfer can happen without any downtime.

Thanks Kc! So just to confirm, it's ok to 'publish' the project with the Custom Domain option selected, create all of the pages and complete the project first, and then later update the domain's DNS records to point to the Brizy project when ready?

Hi Timothy
If you publish the Brizy Cloud project using the Custom Domain option and do not update your DNS records, you wont be able to preview your new design. (Your website won't be available on any URL). Hence you should select the custom domain option with Brizy Cloud only when you are ready to go live with your redesign. Until then please publish the new design using a brizy.site subdomain.
