    Hi,

can you please give us more details? Is it an image or a color? Of an entire section or page?  It's not about CSS itself, it's about the order in which CSS files are loaded to your site. Have you tried to add with custom CSS a color/image directly to page body tag?

    hi

The settings of a block(I only have one for this page) has an image as the background that is the last to load and its looking tacky.

Any way to move it to the first to load?

See the new temp landing page: www.Deer.Network

    Thank You

    Hi Marcus

Please consider these suggestions to help load your background image faster.

    1. The size of your background image is 611KB. This is comparatively a bigger size file. Ideally we should attempt to keep the size of background images in the range of 100-250KB  to help load the image faster.

    2. WordPress natively lazy loads images. This means loading of images is deferred until the page is fully loaded. This helps improve the performance of your web page. However you can disable this for your website using this plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-lazy-loading/

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
