Smileys aren't accepted like text

Hello,

I've encounter a problem withs smileys. When I paste something like 😉, Brizy put an enormous smiley, and doesn't shows it on the publication.

  Hi,

  I just checked this and works well for me. can you please confirm that we are talking about the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.3.29. and PRO 2.3.22?

  Yes, I'm with the latest versions :

  

  I'be tested that on another wordpress installation, and I haven't that problem.

  I don't understand why on this site it bugs.

  And on a third installation, I've got the same problem too ! versions of briy are up to date too.

  The latest versions of Brizy are: Free 2.3.29 and Pro 2.3.23. Can you please make sure if you have this ones and if the problem still persists? Thank you so much.

  Hello Doina,

  I've updated brizy pro as you recommand, but problem is steel here. If you cannot reproduce that on your installations, I can  give you an acces to see it. I've tested a lot of things, but no solution for the moment.

  • smileys works on a page without brizy.
  • Deactivate and reactivate brizy and brizy pro doesn't change anything
  • Deactivate all others plugins doesn't change anything
  • The only way it works, is to drag and drop the smiley from another place to brizy. But it works only during this edition session. If I close editor, and reload it, smileys are broken.

  Maybe all this explanations can help you...

  To recap solutions if anyone has the same problem :

  Wordpress transform automatically emojis to images, as you can see it :

  https://wordpress.org/support/article/emoji/#converting-to-images

  If you don't want that, and in the expectation that brizy add this in their features, I've found this plugin :

  https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/disable-emojis/

  That disable the emojis transformation, and you can do what you want.
