New User invitation gets stuck on 'Edit Project'

I have invited a client to a project, and they create a password successfully, but when they try to edit the project, the loading screen gets stuck. 

I have been able to replicate this issue by creating a user. Please can you rectify this issue, as the client needs to log in to edit the website?
