Blog post templates?
Hi.
I'm still struggling with blog post templates. I start in WP->Posts->Add New.
Brings me to the default WP/Guttenberg post editor page. Now I can write and post from here but it doesn't show up in a Brizy template. On the righthand column I have a TEMPLATE module with a drop down that offers "Default Template" and "Brizy Template." At the top I could also hit the "Edit with Brizy" button (that brings me to a Start Building Your Page page.
If I choose the template Brizy Template it doesn't really end up looking like I want (correct global header/footer, etc.) But if I go to Brizy ->Templates, there's no Brizy Template that I can edit.
What do I need to do to create/edit the Brizy Template for posts? I don't see that covered in support or in the videos.

Hi Paul,
To create a blog page with a Brizy template you have to:
1 - Create a new page and name it "Blog" for example;
2 - Go to the Settings -> Reading and select this page ("Blog" page) for the Posts page https://jmp.sh/qdf311o;
3 - Go to the Brizy -> Templates -> Add new and create a new template;
4 - For this newly created template add a specific name and set the right display condition. For the Blog page, the right condition is - template type Archive and the condition "Blog/Posts page". See here
5 - Publish the template;
6 - Inside the template, you can add the elements and blocks you need to display.
An important detail is to check if on the Blog page from the "Pages" if there isn't activated the Brizy editor. If you see in the Pages this https://jmp.sh/Rw4Cw3k, you have to deactivate the Brizy editor for this page in such a way https://jmp.sh/ma1flFo
Best regards, Nelea.

Still not working for me but it may actually have something to do with the last step. This link to show how to fix it doesn't work: https://jmp.sh/ma1flFo. Can you please repost?
Thanks,

Still not working. 1 difference I noted is that in your video the blog page says that it's for posts and mine doesn't say anything. Screen grabs attached:

Hello Paul,
At the WordPress backend, under Settings - Reading - can you please confirm if you have selected one of your pages as Post page? Can you please share your Reading Settings screen with me? see here, please.
Best regards, Nelea.

This is my Blog Page settings: https://monosnap.com/file/crFSqWwZFcgqHYg4BM24CMBwnLPcuM
This is what my Blog Page should look like (note the header and footer): https://monosnap.com/file/4t5JH44YLAdtXz1d3aBz8UobMDXGKL
This is me writing and publishing a post: https://monosnap.com/file/m7Z31NJ0dikYtB4i5E27HvKgQJFFhw
And this is what I end up with as a Post (Incorrect header or footer): https://monosnap.com/file/XJKIHyzd2SSMih6QYCbZW9SVTwvitg
Missing something somewhere but can't figure out what.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
I have created a ticket for you so please send your login details there and we will look into it. You had to receive a notification regarding this by email. Could you send us in that private message the WP credentials to this site? Perhaps the display condition is not set up properly, but it will be faster if we will check it from your dashboard.
Best regards, Nelea.
