I can't delete the "Lato" font
I would like to be able to remove the source, I do not need it to be loaded online within head, I am currently using the sources of my theme, is there any filter or trick to remove this source? Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
The Lato font is a default Brizy font and cannot be deleted at the moment. We have an ongoing feature that will allow you to set your default font, so you will be able to upload a font, set it as the default, and delete Lato. This will be introduced in one of the next updates but unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for this.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Brizy-Team,
are there any updates on this? Is it possible to delete the included lato fonts in the current brizy cloud version?
I couldn't find a functionality to set up a local font as default.
Thank you and kind regards
Chris

Hi,
Yes, this option was included already in Brizy Cloud. So, you can re-install local fonts and set a local font as the default. If you want to delete the Fonts from the Brizy pages, you have to open the Font list and delete the fonts you need. See here
Best regards, Nelea.

Hello Nelea,
thank you for the fast reply. I already installed a local font and changed all the text to the local font.
Unfortunately, I can't delete the Lato font. All other non-local fonts are already deleted.
Thank you for your support, kind regards and have a great start into the weekend

Hi Chris,
One of the fonts installed on your website is normally set as the Default Font. The green tick mark on it indicates that it is the default font. 'Montserrat Local' is used as the default font in the example below. If Lato is set as your default font, please first set a locally installed font as your default by clicking on it. After that, Lato font should be removeable.

Thank you KC George,
unfortunately, in my settings no default fonts are set (there is no green tick at any fonts). Furthermore, I can't set a default fonts or I can't find it. A little but strange.
Thank you and kind regards
Chris

Hi Christian,
If you are not seeing an option to set one of of the fonts as the default font, it implies that your project was developed before Feb 2021 and it is using the old Brizy Cloud project format. You will need to recreate the project in the current Brizy Cloud project format before you can set the default font.
Here are the steps
- Save every page as a layout in the current project
- Open a new project and create page by page and import the each layout into the new project
- Copy paste the Global typography and colors from the current project to the new project
- Recreate the menu in the new project
- If you used any form integration, redo the integrations in the new project
- Install local fonts and then change the default font from Lato to one of the local fonts
If you need help with this, we can do this for you.
