Some ACF documentation ?
Hello,
I use ACF, and brizy, and for basic fields, it works fine.
But I'm not able to find how put in brizy a field to show an ACF file field for example.
Is there somewhere with correspondances between ACF fields and how put them in a brizy template ?
ACF text, textarea, => brizy text with #
ACF URL => brizy button, link on everything with server icon
ACF image => brizy image,
but for every others ? file, email, date, hour, color, ... ?
Does a correspondance exist - and in this case, what is it ? - or not ?
Best regards

Hi,
unfortunately there is no documentation because these things are still in work. Compatibility will be implemented in one of the next updates.

Hey,
I would like to send you some good news at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, no news regarding ACF :/ There are a lot of other things on the list.

Hey Alex!
No problem. Do you have any tutorials or resources you can share regarding integrating PODS (plugin for custom post types) with Brizy? Specifically I am creating a new Nollywood romance movie (video) gallery database website that includes various YouTube videos from channels (I don't own the channels). But I am having issues with setting up the blog Post Template because there are limitations in the dynamic field options and I need more than what is included in the Post Template options available in Brizy Pro. I am new at Custom Post Types and I used Gravity Forms / Gravity View integration and seems like it added some custom field elements but I am unsure how to use them in my posts. I believe the dynamic options in Brizy is quite awesome but I need to find a way to take it further with building a template that has the specific custom post types integrated into the template which I believe is what Pods plugin allows me to do and even allows a Gravity Forms to integrate this. I just don't know how to make it work with Brizy yet so any videos with that would be helpful. Sorry for the long post reply.

Hi,
there is a video made by Chris but he created an image gallery so not too close to your goal. However, you will find some basics on how to use Pods with Brizy: https://youtu.be/O5E7vFpPxlI

Hey Alex!
Thanks for sharing that video from Chris. It was really the missing link on how to use Pods with Brizy. I was not able to find this type of video before I started the project. It shows how to use the Pods template and call that template into a Brizy Pro template. I had no idea how to do this.
Good news is I figured out the project (before seeing your video) and made it all work out even though I was clueless on how to do it. So all I have to do now is fill in a Gravity Form and the content populates the dynamic elements and the post is complete. Only problem is I haven't figured out why it creates two identical posts and not just one post, but that is not a big problem.
Thanks Alex for your help, I can now further experiment with Pods and Brizy and further enhance the website.
Cheers!
Dante
