Site no longer works after updating a page for example

When I update something on my website, be it an image or text, after clicking the update button the site crashes. We then get an ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error message. The only way to solve this is to uninstall the Brizy and Brizy Pro plugins via FTP and get back online. So we can't use Brizy now, and that irritates us very much. How can we solve this?
