    Hi Mark,

We have made some changes with the new update, so the optimized image option was removed from the dashboard. Now you can install an optimizer plugin like ShortPixel Image Optimizer and optimize your image in the way you need. Also, you can select the size of your image from here https://jumpshare.com/v/3k89nsmlXZnVYPwVemTf

Please make sure, that if you select the Custom option, the image will take the dimension of the container in which it was inserted.

Can you please try to upload again the original image, and choose a size for it?  If the original image looks clear then in Brizy builder it will be the same.

    Best regards, Nelea.

    Hello,

I don't use an optimizer plugins, that's dealt with at the host level for my websites.

The image isn't upload to the website, it's uploaded to Gravatar and linked to the users account.  It's added to the page via the author profile picture option so there is no sizing option.

    Hi Mark,

If you select the Custom option, the image will be resized for performance.

Instead of using the Avatar Option, can you upload the author photo into your Blog Template and use the Original option? If you choose the Original option, the image size will be retained in the front end and will not be optimized for performance. Please see here : https://jumpshare.com/v/aDSO0yVa5MhLRfI4yHSm

    Best regards, Nelea.

    Hi,

If I understand correctly what you're proposing is more of a temp workaround than a proper fix.

So instead of using a dynamic avatar I will add a static profile photo to the template.  You're suggesting this will resolve the fuzzy image issue, however doesn't that also mean the same profile photo would be used regardless of who is publishing a blog post?

While this is an acceptable short term workaround has this issue been noted to be addressed in a future update?

    Hi Mark,

This is not an issue in our builder, you just should select the correct size image for the uploaded image. When you will select the Original option for your image, the image will have the quality which you uploaded.  If the quality of the uploaded image is not too good, it means that it will not look good in the builder either. So the original option does not change the image quality. Have you tried to upload the image this way?

    Best regards, Nelea.

I disagree, the builder should show the author photo from gravatar correctly, it doesn't.

I have removed the author image and added the photo to the template.  As I say, this will solve the immediate problem, but doesn't solve the issue.

As the static image is now in the template it will be shown no matter who the user is.  Therefore I need the image to be the author image in the long run.

    Hi Mark,

We would like to check this problem from your dashboard. Could you please send us the WP credentials to this site? We have created a private ticket for this request. You had to receive a notification regarding this by email. Could you send us in that private message the WP credentials to this site?

    Best regards, Nelea.
