How to create a subdomain in Brizy cloud?

I might be going about this all wrong, but I wonder how I create a subdomain (and the landing page that will go on it) in Brizy cloud?

I already have a website created for the main domain and I host it in Brizy cloud (www.mydomain.com), and now I want to do a landing page hosted on a subdomain for that same domain (sub.mydomain.com).

My domain host is NameCheap, do I create a subdomain there? How do I connect it in Brizy cloud if so?

Or do I create the subdomain with Brizy Cloud, and if so how?

I have the App Sumo deal, with 3 websites and (I think) unlimited subdomains included (if that makes any difference).

  Hello Therese,

  Thank you for your message!

  1.Please see this article.

  2.You have the ability to publish unlimited sites with the Brizy subdomain method, also, you can publish unlimited subdomain of your custom domain, only if the custom domain is published on Brizy. Therefore, if you have published a site with the custom domain (domain.com) on Brizy Cloud, you can publish an unlimited subdomain of this domain on Brizy Cloud.

  3.To connect the page to a subdomain, you need a CNAME.

  Hi Doina, and thank you for your reply.

  I followed the instructions but I believe I've made something wrong because the subdomain is now published and reachable through the browser, but the main domain is not any longer.

  What I did:

  1. Created a new project in Brizy Cloud, choose "Website" and then Publish page through Custom domain. There I added my subdomain (sub.mydomain.com) as the domain name.
  2. Added the CNAME record that came in the instructions following that, in Namecheap's DNS manage

  After that, my main domain didn't work, and when I browsed to the correct URL I was shown this:

  

   

  So I unpublished the project for the main domain in Brizy Cloud, and when I wanted to publish it again the CNAME had to be changed, it said. So I changed it in NameCheap and published the site. My current DNS records for the domain is:

   

  

  However, the main domain still doesn't work and I get shown "Project was not found".

  Could you please point me in the right direction to what I've done wrong?

  I will create a ticket and one of my colleagues will look into this and come with an answer as soon as possible. I think this be solved in the next 12 - max 24 hours as our work day is getting to an end. Do not worry though, I will make sure this is taken care of!
