    Hi Steven,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

With the new update, we have made some changes, so the optimized image option was removed from the dashboard. Now you can install an optimizer plugin like ShortPixel Image Optimizer and optimize your image in the way you need. Also, you can select the size of your image from here https://jumpshare.com/v/3k89nsmlXZnVYPwVemTf
Please make sure, that if you select the Custom option, the image will take the dimension of the container in which it was inserted.

    Best regards, Nelea.

Thanks Nelea for your quick reply.

That's a bit of a bummer that the feature was removed.

    Hi Steven,

We've changed this feature in reason of customization image in the way you like. Many users did not like the way Brizy optimizes the images so we had to change this option.

    Best regards, Nelea.

I agree with Steven, I think the "Optimize images" was super helpful. Specially because you didn't need an extra plugin in order to optimize images. It was just a matter of entering your ShortPixel API key and you were all set. I really wish this feature comes back in the future and maybe just with the possibility to "disable image optimization" for those who didn't like the way Brizy handled image optimization, but for me (and I'm sure a lot of Brizy users)...  it was just perfect the way it was! Please, consider it putting that functionality back and just giving the option to manually disable it if they prefer to use something else. For me using Brizy is all about having to use the lest amount of external plugins to get my website up and running as fast as possible. Removing this feature definitely adds and extra step on the setup and maintenance process.
