Brizy Cloud ACF Does Not Have a Date Field?

I am experimenting with the Brizy Cloud ACF feature.  It works very well except there's no date field available.  Will It Be Added In The Future?  And possibly be used as a filter?

  Hi Nelea,
  I see that one can have a date field in a form.
  What about in ACF?  Can a field be set as a date field?  I only see the following options when trying to create a custom asset.

  Unfortunately, at the moment you cannot add a date field for ACF, but I will add it to our to-do list.

  Hello! Instead of making a new thread about this, I figured I'd bump it after finding it on Google.

  I am working on a project that has events, which requires dates. I can't make a date field for the date of the event, which would then let me sort by the date.

  Will the "Date" field ever be implemented as a custom field in Brizy Cloud?

  Hi Jason,

  We cannot say when this would be implemented. You can probably use the text field to add date but you wont be able to filter events based on it.

  This is so needed for my holiday blog. Is there another way to get around this for display holidays on archive pages?

  Hello Jowanna,

  You could consider this work around. 

  • Use the original Title of the blog posts exclusively for setting posts order
  • Add a custom field and use it as the Title for your blog posts
