Can't locate CSS in page builder
Hi,
I can't locate where a CSS/JS code is in a few of my pages - specifically on mobile devices.
The CSS/JS is for a POWR donation form that I made to test with a Brizy popup MONTHS AGO and deleted. But it's somehow still existing on a few pages even though I've deleted the form from the backend and also deleted the Brizy popup template months ago (https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluk4D2x). But for some reason the CSS/JS code is still somewhere on the page and I can't find where on the page it could be! There's also no plugin that would insert this code since I deleted the form plugin, too. That huge CSS/JS is affecting over 12 of my pages and I want to remove it but have no idea where it could be.
To recap:
- It's not in any of the elements on the page
- It's not in a brizy popup
- It's not from a plugin
- It's not from the POWR website form builder because I deleted the donation form months ago on the backend website
- It's not in the custom theme CSS/JS
- It's not in an embed element on the brizy page (at least I can't find one existing there already)
Help please! So many of my users can't load my website because this CSS/JS is so hard to locate and delete. Is there a way that there is CSS/JS on the entire page that I don't know how to access? Please let me know or help me look into it because I feel like I've looked everywhere on my website and in the Brizy builder elements for it and can't find it.

Hi,
I'm not sure I can help you once this is an external code but let's try some things that could theoretically solve the problem. Do you have an optimization plugin or is the JS minification option enabled on the server or Cloudflare for example? Did you add that code by the embed element in a pop-up? Didn't they ask you to add any code in <head>? Did you try to clean your database? This plugin usually does a good job: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your time helping me on this external issue - Yes, I did add the code by the embed element in a Brizy pop-up but I deleted that pop-up a few days after I made it (ie. it's not in my Brizy templates anymore). So I'm not sure where this JS and CSS code could be. I can't find it in my header/footer code either. So I'm at a loss.
How do I clean my database? Is there an easy-to-follow tutorial you can link me to? Would love to give this a try.
I just set-up that WP-Optimize plugin you suggested (set up minifying JS, CSS, HTML, set-up preloading pages and caching, etc.) and I'll post an update comment here in a few days to see if it has helped.
Thanks for any further suggestions and I'll comment an update next week!

Hi Lisa,
yes, WP-Optimize has several options but you can only use the database cleaning feature. Please refer to this article: https://onlinemediamasters.com/clean-wordpress-database/
btw: don't forget about a backup before doing this work.
