Update and refresh issue
When I try to make a change and REFRESH, I get this message:
This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser.
What is the issue here?

Hi Paul,
This issue is generated by the SiteGround security rule. As a temporary solution, the Mod_Security rule should be disabled.
Please, contact the SiteGround Technical team and ask them to check the ticket #4110933 and to disable ths security rule for your dashboard. We will keep you updated regarding the final fix on this issue.
Thank you!0 -
What is Siteground? I’ve never heard of it. Where is the Mod Security rule found? What is the contact info for Siteground?
You’ve raised more questions than you’ve answered. This is very distressing.

I've checked and I don't have SiteGround installed. Never have. So whatever you're suggesting there is no good. This is a real problem.

Hi Paul,
Siteground is the costing company. Could you please tell me what is your hosting company?
Best regards, Nelea.

I don't use SiteGround, have never used SiteGround, have never heard of Siteground until this issue came up and you keep talking about it. I'm so glad you're glad that SiteGround fixed whatever issue they have, but since I don't use it, it doesn't apply to me. I'm still getting the same error message. So, please, stop talking to me about SiteGround.
For the record, my site is hosted on GreenGeeks.
Having to wait 24-hours for each response is killing me. I need to get back to work on the site.

Hi Paul,
In what conditions did you receive this message? Actually, it appears when 2 or more users work on the same page and make updates. Also, it can appear when you have opened the same page in the build mode in another window or tab.
My question - do you have this message on a specific page? what are your actions on that project? maybe you edit the page, let's say for 20 minutes, without saving this page and at one moment the error occurs? How often did you make an update to the page? We recommend making an update of the page after 10 minutes of working on the page. Also, one of the causes is generated by the server. In this case in the console appear 500 error and therefore the Brizy request isn't sent to the server. Here the solution can be to increase the PHP memory limit to 512M. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/
Could you please install the Cache cleaning plugin and run it? Also, could you optimize the database using the WP Optimizer plugin? Delete the plugins and themes you do not use anymore and clean the media library from the images you don't use anymore and the first revisions from the pages and posts you know you will not need. Also, we can recommend using the ShortPixel plugin to optimize images. We recommend this plugin because we have an integration with it and therefore it can optimize Brizy images from Brizy folders.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards, Nelea.

I don't have more than 1 version open and only in 1 tab. No one else is working on it but me.
The message comes up on every page anytime I press the update button. Doesn't matter if I've had it open for a moment or an hour. Doesn't matter if I've made changes or not. Doesn't matter how many changes I've made.
My memory has been increased. I've run the cache cleaning plugin and the optimizer plugin. I'm not a newbie and I know not to run any plugins I don't need.
I have done all the things you've asked and I'm getting the same result. As before - this worked fine all last week - no new plugins were installed, no major content has been added. Then, after your update, it stopped working. Please stop looking for errors on my end and stop wasting my time. You have not moved me one step closer to fixing the problem with your software. Please advise ASAP.

Hi Desenfans,
This error normally happens when a security / firewall/ malware protection/ DDOS system in your hosting environment interferes with Brizy development. To fix this issue, please sign in to your hosting account and check if any security / firewall/ malware protection/ DDOS system is enabled
If you disable the interfering system temporarily, you would be able to continue with Brizy development.
