Image names are changed in Brizy Cloud bad for SEO
Hello,
Please have a look at my page: https://www.magazinedesigners.nl/magazine-laten-maken
I understand that Brizy Cloud uses Bunnynet CDN.
As I understand the images that I upload are rendered using the WebP format (which makes them super small).
However, I noticed that the Image names (not the ALT tags) changes during the process.
I contacted the Bunnynet support and they told me that it is something on your side.
Are you aware this hurts (Image) SEO dramatically? As the images are not indexed by Google.
Can you please resolve this ;)

Hi Paul,
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you please give us more details about this problem? What do you mean by, Image names,,? Can you send us a screenshot, so we could understand better the problem? Maybe do you mean that the URL is changing?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards, Nelea.

Please see attached screenshots.
Hello Nelea,
My original image name is:
Magazine-Laten-Maken-Interieur-Ontwerper-Magazine-Designers-01.jpg
However, after uploading it becomes:
268668bfaafda3c24e5ffb4a77266bb0.jpg
As you can see in the source code (or if you save he image on your device) the original image name is lost!
Google doesn't index these images, which is extremely bad for SEO.
The image name is a crucial part to be found on Google Images and for raking purposes in general.
Does this mean all sites that are hosted on Brizy Cloud have this issue?
Please resolve this with the highest priority.
And, if you cannot resolve this fast, does the Wordpress Builder with hosting by a 3rd party resolve this?
Thank you very much.
Paul

I noticed the same damn issue. Same issue if you try uploading a webp into Wordpress using Brizy page builder.
Are the developers sleeping on this?
We need a fix ASAP!

Hi Joseph,
This issue has been fixed only for Brizy Cloud. For Brizy Worpress this issue it is not fixed, the team is still working on it. At the moment, we have too many issues, and we can’t fix them as quickly as we want. Please allow us a few more weeks to fix this problem.
Best regards,
Nelea.
