Keeping Links on a Saved Page Layout

Hi,

When I use a saved one page layout on a new site, all the anchor links get broken. This takes a long time to create around 40+ custom links every time. 

I tried saving all the blocks as global; however, when the new site is created, the global blocks do not show as global.

Is there any way to preserve the links, or is duplicating a whole site the only answer? If so, when is duplicating sites going to be made available? (Extremely important, if running your Agency plan).

  Hi David,

  what do you mean by "all the anchor links get broken."? Does it not work or are the links generally not taken in the settings? I just added a few links, saved the layout, imported it into a new project and all links work fine.

  Hi Alex,

  Ok, so I've taken a site with links that work ( onepagedashboard.brizy.site) and set up a duplicate site based on one page (  finsonedashboard.brizy.site  ). The duplicated site now requires a new menu, but also the internal page links are now broken. so yes, I guess the the links are not taken in the settings.

  Hi David,

  from what I see most of the links are in the menu. The menu is clear that it will not be saved because it is created in project settings and is individual for each project. Other links on the page work: https://jmp.sh/qCu9HYH

  does not work links that have been directed to a specific section  "link to the section" and here we have a normal behavior because these sections are identified by a unique id generated and respectively when imported into a new project it will have another id generated. So you will simply have to update its settings.

  Hi Alex,

  When you introduce the site duplication feature, will this fix the issue, or will I still need to update every time?

  Also I know you're working on this as a priority, but can you give me an approximate time for delivery? Is it days, weeks or months, as a best guess?

  Hi,

  we have no ETA for this feature but it's definitely about months. Theoretically, the menu should also be duplicated, but I can't guarantee that now.
