Slow Load Times in the Back End for Large Page Size

Hi,

I've had to condense everything into one page, in order to duplicate my site...now this page is very slow to load, both in the front and back end. Editing takes forever, with the popup often stating 'page unresponsive'.

I've compressed the images, although I guess they could be compressed further. Would this make much difference?

The page can't really be made any smaller, so please let me know how to make this process quicker and more efficient...

  However, the issue occurs on any large page I've worked on and it's even worse when I switch to the mobile backend.

  How much memory is required to run the backend quicker? Any suggestions as to what else I can do to speed things up?

  The page is really big :)  Even so, the frontend loads well for me. I will ask a developer to check the editor but most likely you need more resources. Have you tried editing from another device? Do you have the same problem?
