Save blocks function is broken

After clicking the Save Block Button it spins indefinitely without saving the block. The error has been now for quite some months. Till yet I've worked around it through working solely with my old saved blocks which I still can insert. Thought that the issue might solve itself after some updates of the plugins, but sadly it persists. 

I guess you will need access to my site to check the issue it in depth? Or has this happend to other users before and you know some possible fixes which I can try to attempt?

  I've created an exact copy of the site. In the staging site it works. Odd. I will backup the original site through a second service and push the staging site back to live. Maybe this will solve it.

  Thank you for contacting us.

  It seems that problem was in cache. And when you pushed staging to production website, this cache was removed and problem solved.
