Site broken by an update. Can't update pro - license
I was very surprised to see my frontend broken completely because I didn't make any changes at all. Clearly the automatic update messed it up. Now I have Brizy Free 2.3.13 and Brizy Pro 2.2.7.
At the top of admin panel it says:
"BRIZY PRO IS NOT RUNNING.
Please update Brizy PRO to the latest version."
When I try to update it says update failed: "No activation found for this installation".
My license did not expired nor should it matter according to what your pricing page says: "In case you no longer wish to continue your yearly subscription, the website(s) you have built with the PRO version of Brizy will continue to work".
I cannot go into License settings of Brizy because, well PRO is not working. You didn't think this through carefully. But I assume my license key is still there because I didn't make any changes.
Workaround: disabling Brizy PRO and enabling it again fixed my frontend. Well, kind of because some links are broken...
Questions are:
1. Why the hell are the two plugins (Free and Pro) are dependent on each in such a way that failing to update one breaks the site?
2. How do I restore my Pro to function properly?
3. When are you going to resolve the obvious drama that is updating Brizy Free and Pro?
For now, I will disable automatic updates and hopefully don't get hacked... Also I will not use Brizy on new websites until I see clear progress in quality because while I prefer Brizy Builder, there're just too many issues with it.

Hello Tomasz,
Thank you for your message and sorry for the late response! From the 27-31 of August, Brizy Support was unavailable .
Regarding what you said, first of all you should do regular updates. You cannot have Brizy Free 2.3.13 and Brizy Pro 2.2.7 and expect them to work together properly. What I would advise you to do is to disable the plugin and reinstall it again with the latest versions. If automatic updates were messing things up or not updating at the right time, disable them and do the updates by yourself.
Now about the "obvious drama that is updating Brizy Free and Pro?" - what do you mean by that? updates will always be because we improve our version every time and fix some things or add new features requested by our customers.
Hope this made things clear! If you have any other question or encounter some problems, please feel free to ask!
Have a nice day and best regards,
Doina

Of course I want to have everything up to date. This is why I had auto update turned on but it messed up the whole website because of some dumb bug on your side. Now I turned it off because I don't want it to happen again.
Do you seriously not know what i mean by "obvious drama" ? Just search for "update" on your support forums and see how many problems are caused by your updates. Your builder is just too buggy overall to pose a serious threat to Divi or Elementor even though I do believe it has some better features and more potential.

Hello Tomasz,
Thank you for your message!
Regarding what you said, first of all please do what I said above "disable the plugin and reinstall it again with the latest versions" and tell me the result. Second of all, " Just search for "update" on your support forums and see how many problems are caused by your updates" - in most cases the problems that come with updates are created by other plugins and their incompatibility with Brizy.
Third of all, "Your builder is just too buggy overall to pose a serious threat to Divi or Elementor even though I do believe it has some better features and more potential." - we believe in our product and we are working everyday very hard on it, to make it the best and improve it. We have already fixed some issues that have been in the past and we are still working on other. If you do not find Brizy suitable for your work, you can go to Divi or Elementor but it would be a shame to lose you as a customer.
Hope this made things clear!
Have a nice day and kind regards,
Doina

Follow up to this nonsense. I left the site alone for some time and got back to working on it just now. I was not too surprised when I saw "BRIZY PRO NOT WORKING"... I updated the base plugin, it worked. Tried to update the PRO, "No activation found for this installation", AGAIN. Yea, I do still have the license. Had to install the update manually. You said:
You cannot have Brizy Free 2.3.13 and Brizy Pro 2.2.7 and expect them to work together properly
It turns out the latest free is 2.3.18 and the latest pro is 2.3.14. Can I expect THEM to work properly? I should think not from what you had to say. But I guess they do.
To quote you once more and get back to my stuff, "we believe in our product ". I would advise that you make sure your customers believe in your product in the first place.
I hope you can figure these things out so I can use Brizy on other websites too. For now I am not confident about this product at all

Hello Tomasz,
Thank you for your message!
"Can I expect THEM to work properly?"'- Yes, you can. The latest versions of Brizy have not been a problem for any of our customers and we have not received any complains or messages regarding this topic. As I said, we believe in our product, because we are working everyday on improving it and it does improve.
If you could not update the PRO, as I said multiple times, disable the plugin and reinstall it again with the latest versions. Hoe this made things clear. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Have a nice day,
Doina
