Embedding of HTML in text elements
Hi,
in the past I had to embed custom HTML e.g. as workaround for missing functionality in Brizy. I always embedded the code directly in Brizys text elements, because it was more convient and clear than to use the embed or the shortcode element.
That worked like a charm - until I now updated Brizy after holiday. Previously I had Version 2.2.x and meanwhile there is 2.3.x (free and pro) with a lot of minor updates during the last weeks. I´m not that big fan of all these minor updates (fixing the bugs of the previous minor updates ;-)). That´s not the point, but for that reason it´s hard for me to find out, when the change/update appeared which now leads in breaking all of my custom HTML. All the content between the HTML-tags is no longer rendered, but displayed in plain text just like the tags themselves.
I can remember, that this happened once before and was corrected by the following minor update.
So my question is: will rendering of HTML in text elements come back or will I have to switch all custom HTML elements in embedded elements or shortcodes. That works as I have tried out, but would mean a lot of work for me since it´s not only one page I´m talking about.
Thanks for the answer,
Robin

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
I totally understand you, but we were forced to release these updates as some issues were critical.
Regarding your problem. First of all, are you using Yoast SEO plugin on your website?
Best regards,

Hi Denis,
thanks for the quickly reply!
Yes, I in fact use Yoast SEO on the pages and deactived it on a development platform as you wrote about it. And behold - it seems to work.
But I of cause wouldn´t prefer to deactivate Yoast on all the pages. So can I do something else? Are there any single settings in Yoast blocking Brizy? Or because I am simply interested: what is the error :-)?
Best regards,

Hi Denis,
Fine! So I´ll just keep the older Brizy version and wait for the update.
Thanks for your support and have a nice day,
Robin

Hi,
If you have backup copy and can you it, this is the option at this moment.

Hi Denis,
I just wanted to let you know that after updating to your latest Brizy version, the site's navigation just broke. After some time and testing around, I noticed that there seems to be a conflict with "WP Fastest Cache". I cleared the cache of course, but ended up having to disable WP Fastest Cache to get the site working again.
Since it seems that the Yoast conflict also still hasn't been fixed either, I'm actually considering looking for another page builder by now. I won't update Brizy for the time being, because it costs me too much time to search for the bugs every time. There were times when I was not afraid of updating your product.
You should put yourselves in the position of the developers - your customers. Stability definitely comes before new features and thousands of updates!
Robin
PS: It would be really great if at least the Yoast conflict could be fixed slowly!!!

Hi Robin,
Sorry for late reply.
I recently received reply from the team that we are forced to disable support for using HTML tags in "Text" element. You can use "Embed" element to add your HTML code or custom CSS to make changes outside the possibilities of the text element.
Regarding menu issue. Since last update there is an issue with cache, Issue was reported yesterday by other users and our team is currently working on fixing this problem. As temporary workaround, could you, please, deactivate cache plugin on your website, this should solve the problem with the menu. Please, let me know if this worked.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
Best regards,
