Accidentally clicked Publish on my template
Hi -
Is the WP edit page for Brizy template should be Published?
And should the Page Template be set to Brizy Template?
I have a template for Blog page listing of posts and was working fine for 1 month. Today I made one small change, and then accidentally clicked Publish from the WP Admin on Brizy Template page. Previously it was set at Draft. Now the template is showing default WP post layout. However, the Blog page itself still is working correctly! I don't understand how this is possible. The Blog listing template and the Blog page layouts do not match!
If I go back to my last Backup (1 week ago) I will have to redo a lot of work.
I hope you can help with this.

Hi Jeff,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Brizy Template must always be published if you want it to work. From what I understand the problem is that the Template for blog posts is not assigned to the posts? Are they displayed in the theme style? Could you please send us a screenshot with the conditions set for that template? Also, please send the link to your website so we can see the issue. Thanks.
btw: please make sure you have this issue with the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.3.12. and PRO 2.3.10

Alex –
My primary question is, for a template, should the page be set to Default or Brizy Template?
In two (official) Brizy videos, one from a year ago and one from 6 months ago, they show how to create a Blog Listing template, but do not show which way to set the page template.
Thanks,

Hi Jeff,
Brizy Templates and Page Templates are different things and unrelated. If in a page you use the Default template then the content will appear from Brizy and header and footer from the theme. If you select Brizy Template in page settings then the whole page will be from Brizy.

Perfect.
Thanks, Alex.
