css files not loading securely
pro user here.
one of my sites is running into issues because there are several css/stylesheet files that are not loading securely:
The site is configured to load https:// but 3 to 6 css files are not loaded with the https protocol.
-
in addition, it appears as though the preview stylesheet is the one causing the issue:
<link class="brz-link brz-link-preview-pro" href="http://www.rfcatsfootball.com/wp-content/plugins/brizy-pro/public/editor-build/75-wp/css/preview.pro.css" rel="stylesheet">If I go in and change the href to https, the site loads correctly. Why is a preview stylesheet used for unauthenticated visitors to the site?

Hi Eric,
This is related to your SSL certificate. Here is an article that should help you: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-fix-the-mixed-content-error-in-wordpress-step-by-step/
btw: please also make sure the site URL in WordPress Settings -> General is set with HTTPS: https://jmp.sh/RPBgdWx

settings are correct

installed the plugin still getting the issue.
SSL cert is correct and valid.

Hi Eric,
try to reset your permalinks and check again. In the Admin menu, click on Settings > Permalinks chose Plain and then save the changes: https://jmp.sh/hK6VcD4 Are there any changes in Frontend? After that, you can switch back to the previous Permalinks settings.
btw: If you use a cache plugin, it's recommended to deactivate it.

no cache plugin. deactivated a bunch of plugins that really had no effect on caching = just to see.
changed the permalinks (and changed back) no changes.
(also, when I'm rechecking the site - I'm using the dev tools to clear cache and hard refresh)

that's strange. In the meantime, I had a word with the devs and it seems that there is a problem with these files that occurs from time to time in Brizy. We will fix it in the next update.
btw: Does the page appear the same in the editor? Have you tried to open the editor, save and check again?

It's on all pages, including the homepage and I've not made any changes to that page in weeks.
However, per your suggestion, I updated the page (didn't make any changes, just updated) and the homepage is now loading without issue, I think that fixed it.
why didn't I think of that...
Thanks

I'm glad to hear that. After the next update, you will not encounter such problems. Sorry for the created inconvenience.

running into this issue with another site now. I've republished the page, but still getting the mixed content errors. both plugins have been updated to the latest versions - brizy: 2.3.13 pro: 2.3.11
I do not run into any issues when I'm working on a page, as the requests are being made securely - however, when looking at the page publicly (not in the brizy editor), I have 5 mixed content errors - all css files from brizy.

Hi,
on https://www.rfcatsfootball.com/ do you also have the latest versions 2.3.13 and 2.3.11? It seems to work well. What is the link to the other site?

sorry, I didn't provide the other site... it's https://www.themosaiccoach.com
on www.rfcatsfootball.com, the plugins are both ..1 behind (so: brizy: 2.3.12 and pro: 2.3.10), however, both are queued up to get the auto-update shortly.

Hi Eric,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
It seems to be the same problem although that was fixed in an earlier version. I have created a private ticket for you so please send your login details there and we will look into it. Thanks.
