Brizy PRO requires Brizy 2.3.9 or newer. BRIZY PRO IS NOT RUNNING.

I am receiving this message: Brizy PRO requires Brizy 2.3.9 or newer. BRIZY PRO IS NOT RUNNING. on sterlingproduction.com except I don't have an option to update to 2.3.9 and I can only download 2.3.6 and 2.3.7 on my dashboard.

  Hi,

  it refers to the Brizy free version(which can be downloaded from the WordPress library). Both plugins should be up to date so please make sure you have Brizy Free 2.3.9 and Brizy PRO 2.3.7

  Hi Alex,

  this again took down 3 of my sites. Some had 2.3.9 as an update, others did not see it and had to remove and replace. 

  Is that caused by the same issue that caused the outage a couple of weeks ago?

  Hi Philipp, 

  so for now you have Brizy Free 2.3.9 and PRO 2.3.7 installed on your sites and no site works? Can't they be accessed? Do you have an error message? Did WordPress send you a fatal error notification? Have you tried deleting plugins via FTP and then doing a manual installation?

  There shouldn't be a problem related to a situation from a few weeks ago. These are already other versions of the plugin.

  yes, after manually replacing the free version and searching for it in the repository, its working again w/o issues. 

  The question is, why wasn't auto update recognizing Free 2.3.9 on some sites, and took them down through only updating Pro to  2.3.7 and creating a dependency?

  I don't think I have an answer at the moment. I will send a request to the devs to inspect this.
