Site Broken from updates AGAIN.
My site keeps auto-updating my Free and Pro plugin. And it keeps breaking, until I go in and do the correct updates. And then another round of updates hits the very next day.
This week has seen 3 or 4 updates, each of which broke my site.
I'm now up to 2.3.9 Free and 2.3.7 Pro. I can't keep up, and I need my site functioning. What is the issue? Should I turn off auto-update on these? It seems that Free updates auto, but Pro takes longer and the site breaks in the meantime. I just want a way to prevent this from happening. In the meantime, should I re-download and older version of PRO to get my site working again?

I deactivated both Free and Pro. Deleted Pro. Cleared my cache from speed plugin. Re-downloaded and activated Pro 2.3.7.
Result: all pages worked, except my homepage.
Next step: Edited Home Page in Brizy. Lots of broken image links. Preview still showed as broken. Made a minor text change, saved. Preview now looks fixed. Published change.
Result: homepage now functioning correctly.
I need a best practice around updates. They aren't ready when they're published. I've had to fix this site via plugin shuffling now twice in the last 24 hours.
Is there a preventative measure I can take going forward? I've disabled auto-updates, for sure.

Hi Craig,
Sorry for late reply, support is limited on weekends.
We are sorry for any inconvenience with updates. We do our best to test everything before release. But there exist some cases when during test everything updates fine, however, on users websites appear different issues during/after updates. The best practice is to disable auto-updates and update plugins manually. Also, we recommend to disable WordPress auto-updates as well. We highly recommend to backup your website before updates. So, if something goes wrong, you can restore your website from backup copy.
If you will have any other questions, please, let us know.
Best regards,

I also had to go to every single home page and edit and save again in order to restore the layout...

I can confirm this exact same behavior on all of my sites!
You guys are placing me in a precarious position as I have been a fighter for Brizy in meetings with customer VPs who are pushing to drop Brizy in favor of Gutenberg.
I just had one of them email "the world" with "Brizly's Scripts Failing to Load - AGAIN!".
I was able to edit the main page and merely do a "Save" to correct the problem, whatever it is.
One of their developers sent the following: "It seems to be an issue with loading the plugin assets from an http:// source when the site we’re on is https:// — Fixing that should probably take care of it."
I have no idea what that means, but do know my issues center around those mentioned by Craig above.

What I have found, when it's broken:
When I look at the Chrome DevTools inspector console, I see "http://" links instead of "https://" links.
<link class="brz-link brz-link-preview-lib" href="http://www.<mysite>/wp-content/plugins/brizy/public/editor-build/199-wp/editor/css/group-2_3.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<link class="brz-link brz-link-preview-lib-pro" href="http://www.<mysite>/wp-content/plugins/brizy-pro/public/editor-build/77-wp/css/group-2-pro.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<link class="brz-link brz-link-preview-pro" href="http://www.<mysite>/wp-content/plugins/brizy-pro/public/editor-build/77-wp/css/preview.pro.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
What I did to correct the issue:
I open the page and just hit the "Update" button. This changes the links to "https://" and the site displays fine.
I hope this helps Brizy in fixing this issue.

I've performed two Brizy Plugin updates in the last 2 days and just checked the above site and it was broken AGAIN, until I logged in and hit the "Update" button.

Has this fix been pushed out?
What is the version number of the fix?

Hi Lydia,
Thank you for contacting us.
Yesterday we released a new version for Brizy Free. At the moment the latest Brizy version are: for Free 2.3.11 and for Pro 2.3.8. Next time, when you will have the broken page in preview mode, please send the URL to us so we could inspect the problem.
Best regards, Nelea.

Nelea,
As you can see from my image, we are on the latest versions of Brizy.
I cannot afford to allow the site to stay broken, too many people are watching it and ready to report is being "broken AGAIN" so they can warrant moving to Gutenberg.
I did right-click on the screen and saved a "View Code" copy of the broken and fixed page.
Will that help? If so, how do I send it to you?

This just occurred again.
I captured to code to a text file, how do I get it to you since we cannot attach files here?

Hi Jeremiah,
We can not inspect the problem if we don't have the site. You can send here screenshots, also you can do a video record with jump share and sent us the link.
Best regards, Nelea.

Attached is the screenshot.
There is nothing to record, once it breaks, I edit the page and perform an update to fix.
I figured your developers could compare the before and after code to gain some insight to the problem.
Again, I mention this, when the site breaks I see many "http://" links from Brizy, and when the site is working correctly, those links are "https://"

Hi,
The issue from your site appears because you have the Astra theme installed. At the moment we are awaiting a fix from the part of the Astra team, also our developer team is doing some improvement regarding this problem. Soon we will release a new update where this problem will be fixed. We are very sorry for this inconvenience, both teams will try to release the fix as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards, Nelea.

Was not aware of that.
I also heard some issues with the "W3 Total Cache" plugin so I removed it and installed "WP Optimize". That appears to be working better.
What theme do you recommend in place of Astra?

Hi,
At the moment we recommend one of the default WordPress themes (for example, Twenty Twenty-One).
Best regards, Nelea.

I'm having a similar issue with the current version. Has anyone have this experience lately?

Hi,
Could you please give us more info about your issue? Could you please send us some screenshots and the URL page of your website? Also, can you confirm that you are using the latest versions of Brizy Free 2.3.25 and Brizy Pro 2.3.18?
Best regards, Nelea.
