Text getting pasted at bottom of text element after new update
Hi,
I am facing weird problem after latest update of Brizy and Brizy pro. Here is screen shot video for your reference. https://www.screencast.com/t/C5nfUwm2h
#1 The selected text is not getting deleted when we select the text and replace that with new one.
#2 When we want to paste the text in between the text already there in place, the new text is getting pasted at the bottom of the text element. Please refer this screen shot video. I have shown you various ways we are facing issue with the text. The last one is marked as red and I was trying to add new text ( here in this case same text above Red one) but still it has pasted at bottom of Red text.
Thanks

Hi Brandon,
can you please confirm that we are talking about the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.3.5. and PRO 2.3.3? I just checked this but can't reproduce the problem on my WordPress installation: https://jmp.sh/Dgh5M6J
Maybe there are some specific conditions? Does it happen in all text elements on all pages?

I have a similar problem when pasting text. I would like to paste text and maintain the styling that is currently on the Brizy-made page. But when I paste, it gets formatted with different styling. Is there a way to paste so that it strips the text of the original styling and applies the Brizy-page styling?
I've also tried pasting the text into Text Editor first, to remove any styling, but when I copy/paste that new text into Brizy, it doesn't continue with the current Brizy style. It reformats it and changes the color.
I think the recent update was a good idea, but at the same time it is causing some headaches since now it seems to only keep the text styling from the external source, rather than letting us choose which style to apply (Brizy styling vs source styling).
Any way I can fix this or use a different paste method? Thank you in advance!

Hi Adam,
this is a different issue. You cannot copy text from external sources and keep styles in Brizy but in your case it seems to work the other way around. The pasted text doesn't take on Brizy styles, right? Can you please send a screen recording with what you are doing to see the issue?

Hi Brizy support team
https://www.screencast.com/t/C5nfUwm2h
please refer this screen shot. This has started happening again. I have updated version of Brizy and Brizy pro on sites. After I raised the issue earlier, in subsequent versions that was fixed. But I noticed it has started happening again.
Thanks

Hi Brandon,
What exactly is the problem? Can you please give us more details? I tried to reproduce what was described in the initial post and it works well for me: https://jmp.sh/2drqCxk
btw: you sent a 2 month old screen recording. Is it exactly the same behavior now? In the meantime, a few updates have been made. so can you please confirm that we are talking about the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.3.17. and PRO 2.3.13?
