website crashed after auto update

Hi there, 

my website auto updated this afternoon and my site went down a few minutes later with the error here: 

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 3 of the file /home/sites/13b/7/74905cddfc/parkrowestateagents.com/wp-content/plugins/brizy-pro/content/placeholders/post-loop.php. Error message: Declaration of BrizyPro_Content_Placeholders_PostLoop::getValue(Brizy_Content_Context $context, Brizy_Content_ContentPlaceholder $contentPlaceholder) must be compatible with BrizyPlaceholders\PlaceholderInterface::getValue(BrizyPlaceholders\ContextInterface $context, BrizyPlaceholders\ContentPlaceholder $placeholder)

Any ideas? Does this update need a patch?

    Thank you for your message

    We are currently investigating this issue and we will do our best to come back soon with a fix. In the meantime, I recommend you delete Brizy plugins via FTP and install the previous versions(2.2.20 PRO and 2.2.13 Free) manually so you have the site live until we come up with a fix.     btw: you might as well try to upgrade PHP to the latest version. I think there is something about this, so it could be a solution for you until tomorrow.

    Hello Ryan,

    Thank you for your post. Apologies for all these inconveniences caused by the last Brizy update. 

    You need to update the PRO version right now.

    1. Log into your Cpanel or FTP account and delete the Brizy FREE version.

    2. You will have access to the WordPress dashboard; 

    3. Download the PRO version from your Brizy account and upload it into your WordPress dashboard. Do not active, because you need to:

    4. Download the FREE version from the WordPress repository. Activate the FREE version and then the PRO version.

    You should have:

    Brizy FREE 2.3.0

    Brizy PRO 2.3.0

    hi there, it looks like several others are having the same issue. Could you please explain how to download the previous versions? There is only one version 2.3.0 on my dashboard. I really need to get my site up as I am losing hundreds a day here.

    Hi Natalia, This seems to be getting worse now. I followed the steps and my site is back on however it is all broken. All my Lottie animations are missing and I can't edit any pages as the Brizy editor will not load. Can you please advise what to do as it is not working for me at all.

    I created private ticket, you should receive email notification regarding this. Please, provide us link to your website and admin access to your WP dashboard in this ticket, we would like to check issue from your dashboard.
