Hi,
Thank you for your message.

I received the same fatal error message and my site is down when the plugin auto-updated.
I can only access the wp dashboard in WP recovery mode. I had to deactivate the Brizy Pro plugin to get my site back up.
Please advise on a fix.
Thanks

Hi,
I had the same issue. I got help from my web host, and they uninstalled bizy-pro. This is the file they send to me which made th error.
PHP Fatal error: Declaration of BrizyPro_Content_Placeholders_
PostLoop::getValue(Brizy_ Content_Context $context, Brizy_Content_ ContentPlaceholder $contentPlaceholder) must be compatible with BrizyPlaceholders\ PlaceholderInterface:: getValue(BrizyPlaceholders\ ContextInterface $context, BrizyPlaceholders\ ContentPlaceholder $placeholder) in /home/cultrexz/public_html/wp- content/plugins/brizy-pro/ content/placeholders/post- loop.php on line 25. Kind regards,

Seems to have worked to have uploaded the PRO manually in WP maintainace mode but there are a few bugs in the new version however.

Hi,
Thank you for your message
We are currently investigating this issue and we will do our best to come back soon with a fix. In the meantime, I recommend you delete Brizy plugins via FTP and install the previous versions(2.2.20 PRO and 2.2.13 Free) manually so you have the site live until we come up with a fix. Here's an article on how you can do that: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
btw: you might as well try to upgrade PHP to the latest version. I think there is something about this, so it could be a solution for you until tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Regards,
Nelea.

Hello Guys,
I'm really sorry for these troubles.
Please, update the PRO version plugin. If you don't have access to the WordPress dashboard, try to remove the FREE plugin within the FTP/CPanel dashboard. Then, update the PRO plugin to the 2.3 version and right after download the latest FREE version from the WordPress repository.
You should not have this fatal error with both plugins updated to the 2.3 version.
We will launch a new compatibility version in a couple of hours.
Apologies for all these inconveniences.
Regards, Natalia

Hello Lars.
The previous Brizy FREE plugin can be found in the WordPress repository - https://jmp.sh/DYYnE9n and the previous PRO version in your Brizy account https://jmp.sh/4XP99eD;

Hi Bertie,
Could you, please, try to install released a few hours ago Brizy Free 2.3.1 and after that activate Brizy PRO and check if this will work for you?
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,

Hi! :)
Well, it is not fun for anyone to have problems with the core plugin, but I am at least learning some new important stuff on how to (try and) fix plugins that are not working :)
I have installed the latest version of the free Brizy version, and installed PRO 3.2.1 (from Brizy site). However, in WP I am getting the following, quite contradictive message:
I unistalled pro, and the reinatalled it. I tried to deactivate, and then activate it again, but the message stays the same. I also installed 3.2.1 of the free version to see whether that made a differene. Is this a known issue?

Hi,
We are sorry for late reply and for this inconvenience. To solve the problem you should do next:
- Log into your cPanel account or via FTP and delete the Brizy FREE version.
- You will have access to the WordPress dashboard;
- Download the PRO version from your Brizy account and upload it into your WordPress dashboard. A this stage do not activate it, please. See next step.
- Download the FREE version from the WordPress repository. Activate the FREE version and only then the PRO version.
You should have:
Brizy FREE 2.3.3
Brizy PRO 2.3.1
Please, let me know if this worked for you.
Best regards,
