Main page of the Blog of a website
Hello, I am confused in the way to create a page or template so that it works as the main page of the Blog of a website.
I don't understand if I have to create it as "Template" from the Brizy button where the settings etc are, or if I have to create any page and turn it into the posts page from the WP settings.
I also don't really understand the functionality of # Post Title - # Post Excerpt. I'm doing some tests and it doesn't work.
What I want is to create a 100% custom page as an entry page, where for example the last entry appears larger than the oldest entries. I don't like the system of adding "archive element" because it only allows modifying rows and columns, without the possibility of modifying the width or leaving blank spaces, etc.
I will be grateful if you can clarify everything related to the topic of the blog posts and its main page, or if you can recommend a video that will clarify it for me.
Thank you

Hi Alejandro,
Thank you for your message.
For a Blog page, it is recommended to create a template and to add an Archive element. See here a step-by-step guide to find how to create a Blog page with a Brizy template.
To create a blog page with a Brizy template you have to:
1 - Create a new page and name it "Blog" for example;
2 - Go to the Settings -> Reading and select this page ("Blog" page) for the Posts page https://jmp.sh/qdf311o;
3 - Go to the Brizy -> Templates -> Add new and create a new template;
4 - For this newly created template add a specific name and set the right display condition. For the Blog page, the right condition is - template type Archive and the condition "Blog/Posts page". See here
5 - Publish the template;
6 - Inside the template, you can add the elements and blocks you need to display. An important detail is to check if on the Blog page from the "Pages" if there isn't activated the Brizy editor. If you see in the Pages this https://jmp.sh/Rw4Cw3k, you have to deactivate the Brizy editor for this page in such a way https://jmp.sh/ma1flFo.
Also, please see this video about blogging. # Post Title - include the title of your post. # Post Excerpt is a short snippet from your post that you can display in a list of blog posts or on other key pages of your website.
Best regards,
Nelea.
