    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, at the moment we didn't release the custom breakpoint feature. It is on our Feature Request list and our team are investigating and working on it. For the moment, it is a bit complex feature, and to release it, we need to build a strong base that will create the perfect environment for this feature. When we will have more details about this feature, we will inform you too!

    Thank you!

    Best regards,

    Nelea.

I'm with Morten on this. Either the team needs to fix the current Brizy breakpoints or allow us to customize. Right now there is about 100-200 pixels of what me and my co-worker have called the "Brizy No-Mans land" the point before Brizy moves from Desktop to Tablet mode and we get all sorts of weird, undesirable sizing and text issues (such as buttons that are set to flex-flow: "row-reverse nowrap" so that they just expand out of all margins and padding and overlap other buttons and content.)

This is a pretty critical flaw in terms of responsiveness. Overall I've been quite underwhelmed by the responsiveness of brizy. Even using pre-made blocks, I switch to tablet view and I have to manually fix elements so that they don't look squished, cut-off, etc. We should have more responsive inputs (i.e. using VW and VH rather than just pixels or %, and being able to use responsive type inputs like EM).

    Dear Jordan,

I understand your frustration. Apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately at the moment, we cannot provide any ETA for these features, but our development team is doing their best to release as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Best regards,

    Nelea.

    Hi Junior,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Currently, we only have three options for responsive design.
However, we are working on adding a new feature called 'Breakpoint Manager', this is one of the Main Focuses we have for 2023 - https://prnt.sc/WI7Gsqjjyggw

    Hi Ariel,

is there any news on the subject of individual breakpoints?
I have created a website and I need a different breakpoint for the tablet / laptop view.
What can I do here? Thanks for the answer!

    Best regards,

    Silke

    Hi Silke,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, the development of our custom breakpoints has been delayed and is currently in progress. If you require breakpoints that are not currently available in Brizy, it will require custom CSS.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    Hello,

is there anyprogress with Breakpoints manager please?

With more viewports and „hybrids“ like ipad pro / ipad (pro) 12 there are more and more device, that lie in what Jordan called "Brizy No-Mans land"  three years ago.
Maybe I missed this one and it is already updated and I have to update my plugin?
If not, than please can you give it a highest priority? I bet that this is much more important than any new shiny „toys“ like cheap effects when scrolling... This is really a must have for Brizy to be a solid web builder for today's world. Thank you

    Hi Marek,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The Breakpoints Manager feature has been slightly delayed, and we currently don't have an ETA for its release. We fully understand the importance of this feature, as it’s one of the most requested by the community, and we’re actively working on it. Rest assured, we’re aware of how critical this is for making Brizy a more solid and flexible web builder.

Thank you for your patience and your continuous support.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

Hi Ariel, great to hear that.

I can understand the complexity of that solution...

I think I could easily use two variations within each category. So two variants for mobile, two variants for tablets and two variants for laptops. Plus a large iMac type desktop. It's pretty crazy, but without that I just don't know how to do custom designs on Briza...

Without better responsive features, it is often simply not possible to achieve a satisfactory result for all types of devices. Here are some problematic viewports:

Laptop 1200x800 I think MacBooks from 2006 to 2008 had this resolution, and I'm not sure if this resolution is still very common. But it's pretty crazy to achieve satisfactory ho results for laptops and desktops, and for this viewport at the same time.

In the last year or so, the problem has been with the iPad Pro 11'' 834x1194 - this one is probably quite out of the tablet category. In any case, with brizy, I have not yet managed to optimize the designs to render pages correctly on this tablet. Because it just stands outside the category breakpoints that brizy has set.

GalaxyS20. You might wonder why this particular mobile, but it's more an example of the fact that this fairly widespread mobile has a certain 360x800 screen, but which I specifically find often problematic. Because when the design looks good on, say, iPhones and other phones, this particular S 20 always displays it differently. Respectively, in a way that the design falls apart.

I understand that some generic templates may be viewable without major errors on the devices I'm referring to here. But unfortunately for me, I don't work with templates, and if I want to use large typography, for example, I just can't really do it on brizy because I run into those breakpoint restrictions. WHILE it should display flawlessly on all viewports, I can't actually achieve the effect I intended.
Yes, there's some sort of workaround with media query, but when I want to use GSAP animations for example, it doesn't even work properly for those 3 viewports...

    Hi Marek,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts in such detail. I completely understand how tricky it can be to get designs to look just right across so many different devices and screen sizes.

I want you to know that Breakpoints Manager was part of previous internal discussions with management, and your concerns have not been overlooked. Like you, I am also eagerly awaiting progress on this project. We sincerely ask for a bit more time as we work toward completing this feature.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
