Possible to hide layouts and blocks?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to hide the layouts and blocks for certain roles so that only the global and liked blocks were available. This would be useful to allow certain roles some editing access but not all access.

  Hi Matt,

  Thank you for your message.

  Yes, you can hide a  block from your page. Please go to the Setting Block - More Settings- Advanced -click on Show on desktop.  See here. If you want to not show public an entire page from the project you can save it in Drafts ,see here .

  Hi thank you for the response. I do not want to hide a block from my page, but rather want to hide the option to choose a layout or a block for a user. So that the user can only select from blocks that I choose or saved blocks as they build their page. Thank you Matt Hower

  Hi Leonardo,

  The entire Layouts and Blocks Library is accessible to all users irrespective of their User Role. Visibility of a Brizy premade layout or a block cannot be set based on User Roles       

  However, you can set the visibility of a block on a page to a user based on his role. For example, you can set a block visible only to customers or logged in users and set another block only to non-logged in users. You can design specific blocks for specific users.
