Slow and Laggy builder interface

Hi there,

on our page https://edrone.7hype.com/

The builder interface has some issues:

  • insert a new element, duplicate, copy (style or element) request about 10-to-30-seconds and often the page goes in timeout
  • if we change a value inside element settings and we switch to a new element without waiting 2-3 seconds, the change is applied to new element and not to the first one
  • assets and elements in builder are very slowly to appear and sometimes they glitch

Could you check what is buggy?

    Hi Nelea,

    no update after 1 month and no change.
    Things got worse:

    1. it's impossible to edit many things in page 'cause it goes in timeout;
    2. custom font is missing;
    3. stiky header doesn't stick;

    Now it's urgent to find a solution, 'cause we have to made some change in our page.

    1.it's impossible to edit many things in page 'cause it goes in timeout;  -can you please give us more details about this problem? can you please send us a video record of the problem that you encountered?

    2. We know about this issue, it will be fixed in the next update.

    3. We tried to reproduce the problem you reported but all seems to work fine. Could you please send us the URL link of your page where you have this issue?

    Hi Nelea.

    1. Slow and Laggy builder

    You can check for yourself, it doesn't change with browser or connection, so you can see easly this problem.

    Some example of times when it is obvious:

    • load of editor page: no other project on brizy request so much time to load
    • try to insert any new element; if you are lucky it takes some seconds, if not request goes in timeout
    • change font in styling panel; if you are lucky it takes some seconds, if not request goes in timeout
    • we tryed to solve saving layout and create a new page, but problems still there. 

    If you need a video, no problem, but i need a suggestion about where i could upload it and share with you.

    2. Font bug
    What's the timing for this fix?
    We need to know if make a change on fly in our page or waiting the brizy update. 

    3. Header stiky
    You're right, it's fixed, probably i had a cached page when i wrote my last message :-)

    Hi Nelea ok, the video does not show more than what I have already described, but it's not a problem.

    However, as i wrote before here, i need a suggestion were upload/share video, 'cause it's something that usually we dodn't do.

    ... ahem... maybe it's my english, but:
    i was asking were upload the video that you request me some minutes before, to show the problem.
    not how to insert a video into brizy.

    I think we're in a loop of misunderstanding...
    i'm asking if you have a suggestion where i can upload that video (name of service you use?), 'cause it's something that we usualy don't do and open a youtube channel only to do that it's not the smartest idea i think...

    here some data and link to video example:

    • average time to load editor -> 23 sec. (other project -> 6 sec)
    • slow editor example:
      select a new or saved popup from library (yesterday i had to spent 2h only to make a simple popup and insert into 6 button, 'cause every modify need more than 3-4 minute and sometimes doesn't works 'cause timeout);
      change font;
      insert element into page 

    Here the video example
    It's about changing font into style pannel
    You can't see in this video 'cause of limit of 30sec, but request was applied after 1min40sec ... a simple font change...

    Thank you very much for your message, details and the video that you sent !

    Regarding what you said, yes - there is a problem in our builder when you add Paralex (for example elements like carousel work a bit slower). We are deeply sorry for this inconvenience.
