Page with Forwarding + Redirect-Error

Hello Brizy Support,

I have a website hosted on Brizy Cloud that went live early May:

https://www.alexandervonbernstorff.de

While investigating some Google Search Console reports, I verified that:

• the DNS configuration is correct,
• both the root domain and the www subdomain are configured according to your documentation,
• all redirects are valid (301 → 200) without redirect chains,
• the sitemap generated by Brizy uses the www version of all URLs.

The current status is that I entered sitemap.xml to Search Console and Search console lists two issues:

1. Google Search Console reports a Redirect Page for:

https://alexandervonbernstorff.de

My understanding is that the entire site is based on www, e.g., https://www.alexandervonberstorff.de/consulting. However, not knowing better, I have told Google Search Console to index without www because this is the URL I am using for marketing purposes. Is it any problem that Google lists this page or can I ignore it?

1. Google Search Console reports a Redirect Error for:

https://alexandervonbernstorff.de/blog

although external redirect tests show a correct 301 redirect to:

https://www.alexandervonbernstorff.de/blog

followed by a normal 200 OK response.

Is there anything in Brizy Cloud that could explain this behaviour?

Info: When I first created the website in Brizy Cloud, for some reason that I do not understand, the Blog-Page had a slug “/blog-2”. At first, I kept it, but about late June or so, I changed the slug to “/blog”. Could this be any problem or explanation of the error?

I am not an Englisch native speaker, so in case anything is not clear, feel free to ask me what was meant 😊

  Hi Alexander,

  Thank you for reaching out.

  The "Page with redirect" status for the non-www homepage is expected because your site uses the www version as its primary domain. Google should index the final www URL instead.

  The redirect from: https://alexandervonbernstorff.de/blog to: https://www.alexandervonbernstorff.de/blog is working correctly. The reported error may be based on an older crawl, possibly related to the previous "/blog-2" slug.

  Please try the following steps in Google Search Console:

  - Open the URL Inspection tool and inspect the final www URL:
    https://www.alexandervonbernstorff.de/blog
  - Select Test Live URL.
  - If the live test is successful, select Request Indexing.
  - Resubmit the sitemap using the www version.
  - Start the validation process for the reported redirect issue.

  Google may need some time to recrawl the website and update the report, so the previous status may remain visible for several days or weeks.

  If the live test still shows an error, please send us a screenshot of the crawl details so we can investigate further.
