I just cleaned up the cPanel installation and moved the site to its supposed cPanel folder - no change.

    Hi,

Thank you for the detailed investigation.

We've encountered very similar behavior on websites hosted within the GoDaddy ecosystem before. Since HostEurope is part of the GoDaddy group and uses similar hosting infrastructure, it's possible that the hosting environment is contributing to the issue, particularly when processing large Brizy save requests.

As a comparison test, we recommend restoring a copy of the website on a different hosting environment to see whether the issue persists. If you'd like to try this and need assistance with the migration, we'd be happy to help.

Also, we did not receive the administrator account details that were reportedly sent to support@brizy.io. Could you please create a new Administrator account using the email address communitysupport@brizy.io instead?

Additionally, would you allow us to create a clone of the website in a staging environment? This would help us perform further testing and determine whether the issue is related to the hosting environment.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Leonhard,

    Thank you for your patience.

We tried several troubleshooting steps, but unfortunately the issue still persists.

During our testing, we noticed that smaller pages save without any problems. However, as the page becomes larger and contains more content, the "Page needs refresh" error starts to appear when saving.

If you haven't already tested the site on a different hosting environment, you're welcome to log in to the staging site using the same credentials you previously provided and see if you experience the same behavior there:

    Thanks for your quick answer.
Yes I think its obverse that it is a problem with the GoDaddy/World4You Hosting, but whats is the solution?
Deleting content until the site can be saved?
As this is effecting all of your customers hosting @ such a large host, wouldn't it be wise to find a solution directly with them, or at least offer me and the others a straight forward solution?

    Kind Regards Leonhard

    Hi Leonhard,

Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern.

At the moment, the only workaround is to reduce the overall size of the page by removing some content where possible and moving it to separate pages, then linking to those pages instead. We also recommend converting your images to the WebP format, as it provides much smaller file sizes while maintaining good image quality.

For example, we reduced the hero image on the _test page from 516 KB to 164 KB simply by converting it to WebP. This not only reduces the amount of data that needs to be processed when saving the page, it also improves page loading speed, especially in the gallery section.

We also noticed that the feedback slider at the bottom of the homepage adds to the page size. On this test page, we removed the slider and was able to save the page.

Could you try replacing the feedback slider with cards or columns instead, and then check if the page saves successfully? This will help us determine whether reducing the page complexity resolves the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

Yeah exactly this slider is what all this fuzz is about. We need to add a slide.
Its a nightmare to maintain, because it is not intelligent enough to just have one set of images and makes it stupendesly big.

    • I have to change all images of every slider manually.
    • I made a global element out of it and placed it into a empty page. But even then, after waisting one hour of my life for this, it wouldn't save.

Even if I delete the images out of the media library to be able to save the element, it will not safe the page...

    Hi Leonhard,

Unfortunately, there isn't much more we can do from our end if the issue is caused by the hosting environment or server limits.

You can try reaching out to your hosting provider for further assistance. However, based on our previous experience with this hosting company, their support has not always been very responsive in resolving these types of issues.

You can also forward the following support article to your hosting provider, as it explains the server-side settings that may need to be adjusted:
    https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/22590197512210

I understand this is especially difficult since it's your client's hosting provider. At this point, if the hosting provider is unable to help resolve the server limitations, migrating the website to a different hosting provider may be the most practical long-term solution.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

Hi, could you try saving it as a block first, then import that block into a new page and see if the carousel can be saved there? Then save it again as a layout and import it in the homepage.

    I tried

    • Saving it as global block and edit it on a blank page, even then I cant save it
    • Building it from scratch to eliminate some other bug - everything above four entries cant be saved.
    • Saving it as favourit and edit it in brizy cloud - would not show up in brizy cloud.

An Idea to recreate it with similar function/look with another element?

Thanks btw for your quick responses!

Could you please try converting the section into a column slider - https://youtu.be/tGEq5LefLSs
