    Hi Francesco,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Could you let me know if there is a specific reason why you prefer using an older version of Brizy Pro?

Also, could you please provide temporary administrator access to your WordPress dashboard so we can take a closer look at the issue?

Kindly send the following details to communitysupport@brizy.io:

Because if I update the plugin, all the site’s styles and fonts are reset. If there were a way to update the plugin without losing the current settings, I would do so. I find it unusual that updating a plugin should result in the loss of settings, as does simply editing the page. Is there a solution? I’ll now send the login details to the email address provided.

    Hi Francesco,

To safely address the issue with the Brizy update, we’ve created a clone of your live website on a staging environment. On this cloned site, we successfully updated both Brizy and Brizy Pro to their latest versions.

Could you please take a look at the cloned site here and inspect it?

    https://staging.brizywp.site/case21234/

Let us know if the styles, fonts, and overall layout perfectly match your original site.

Please note that we had to use a different version of the Slider Revolution plugin on the staging site, as the version currently installed on your live site was not functioning correctly in our staging environment. Aside from that change, the site is an exact clone of your live website.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

Thanks. But the footer is not visible on your staging site. The gradient was not pink in the original site, although I can now see that even on the live site, the fonts and colour shades on the pages are wrong :( .

If you see on page "servizi" some blocks has correct font, other no. I want to know (also for the other sites i have with Brizy) how safely update plugin without lost (is not the first time that occured) my configuration.

    Hi Francesco,

    Thank you for the update.

We've now fixed the footer area on the staging site.

To help us identify the differences, could you please create a screenshot of the "Servizi" page from your live website for comparison. If possible, please mark or highlight the specific blocks that do not match in terms of fonts, colors, spacing, or styling.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

Also the production website is broken now, I think I’ll have to start all over again :( .

How can I safely update your plugin without everything breaking every time? Last time you told me that if I jumped straight from version 1 to version 2, it might not work properly, but there isn’t a major release jump this time – so why are the settings being reset??

It’s really frustrating to worry every time that you might break the website, or break it – as in this case – and have to start all over again.

    Hi Francesco,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues.

First, I'd like to clarify that we have not made any updates or changes on your production website. This is precisely why we created a clone of the site on a staging environment, to test updates safely without affecting the live website.

From our testing so far, it appears that the issue may be related to an interaction between the Blocksy theme, Blocksy Companion, and the page content.

It's also possible that we're seeing different versions of the site's cached assets. This is why we need screenshots of what you're seeing on your end.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.
