Brizy Cloud SMTP settings
Hello, I'm trying to set up SMTP notifications for a contact form in Brizy Cloud. It's not working despite several attempts. Is there an updated guide online specifically for Cloud? The ones I'm seeing are for Wordpress or appear outdated.
Please advise, thanks.

(I should add: the regular email notification feature is also not working for me.)

Hi Timothy,
Thank you for reaching out.
I tested the SMTP configuration on my staging site, and it appears to be working properly. The setup process is very similar to configuring an email client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, you just need the correct SMTP hostname, username, password, and port number provided by your email service provider.
To help demonstrate the process, I recorded a short screencast showing how to configure SMTP in Brizy Cloud:
https://youtu.be/c_X62-whK_YCould you please let us know which Brizy Cloud project you are working on? Also, please send us the page URL where the form was created so we can inspect the setup on our end and see why the notifications are not being delivered.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,

Thanks Ariel. My setup fields for SMTP does not include Port. I changed to 587, still no luck. Testing via link to popup in the Cloud project called Verbatim: https://www.verbatimtextsoundexpo.com/form-email-tests. I used the Google App Password for password, mentioned in a Brizy guide.

Hi Timothy,
Thank you for your patience.
Brizy Cloud does not currently have a built-in Gmail integration. However, forms can be configured to send notifications using SMTP.
Before configuring the form, we generated an App Password for the Gmail account and verified that the SMTP credentials were working correctly using the SMTP testing tool below:
https://www.gmass.co/smtp-test
Using your test page, I then created a second popup form and configured it correctly for testing purposes. I also recorded a short screencast explaining the setup and configuration process:
To verify that the form is working, I included my email address as a CC recipient in the second form. Since your email address is configured as the main recipient, you should receive the same test email that I received.
Feel free to inspect the second popup form and compare its settings with your original configuration. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please let me know and I'll be happy to help.
Kind regards,

Thanks Ariel! I realized what it was: when Google gives you the app password at first, the 16 digits are separated by spaces. When I copied it, the spaces were copied into my password. Removed them and now it's working! Your message helped me confirm I was doing the right thing though.
