Typography issue after Brizy update when WP-Rocket is active
Hello,
Following the latest Brizy update (2.8.16 & 2.8.9), fonts are not displaying correctly when WP-Rocket is activated.
I have tried disabling the following options:
-
Load JavaScript deferred
-
Delay JavaScript execution
-
Optimize CSS delivery
However, the fonts still don't show up properly. The issue is only resolved when I completely deactivate WP-Rocket.
Please note that every time I modified the WP-Rocket settings, I cleared the cache and tested the site in an incognito window.
For the time being, I have rolled back to the previous version and I am holding off on updating the rest of my websites as a precaution.
Best regards,
-

Hi Fredi,
Thank you for your cooperation.
Could you please check your website again and let us know if the issue is still occurring?
In case this happens again, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Disable all third-party plugins, including WP Rocket.
2. Make sure both Brizy and Brizy Pro are updated to their latest versions.
3. Re-enable WP Rocket first and check whether the fonts display correctly on the front end.
4. If everything looks good, gradually re-enable the remaining plugins one by one, checking the site after each activation. This demonstrated on this screencast ----
WP Rocket also includes a feature that automatically clears and regenerates the cache when plugin changes are detected. Please make sure to use this option as well after enabling plugins to ensure fresh assets are being served.
Kind regards,
Ariel H.0
