    Hi Edgar,

Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the inconvenience.

It appears that Brizy Pro may have been automatically updated first from v2.8.8 to v2.8.9. Unfortunately, WordPress did not detect that there was also an available update for Brizy, which resulted in a version mismatch between the two plugins.

To resolve this, please install the WP Rollback plugin. Once installed, you should be able to update Brizy to the latest version. I've created a short screencast demonstrating the process here:

After Brizy has been successfully updated, you can safely delete the WP Rollback plugin, as it is no longer needed.

Please let us know if the issue persists after the update.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

I have done just that but still it is showing weirdly weird. Check this sample website link.

Surprisingly it worked for some and has failed for some.

After the latest Brizy update, the width of our entire website changed unexpectedly.

All pages created with Brizy became significantly narrower on desktop, including regular pages, WooCommerce product pages, category pages, and product descriptions built with Brizy. Before the update, the layouts displayed correctly across the full content area. After the update, the content is constrained to a much smaller width.

The most problematic part is that fixing this issue requires manual intervention. We have a large website, and it is not realistic to manually edit every page, product, and category after an update that should preserve existing layouts.

This update appears to have changed the default container width behavior or introduced new width constraints that were not present before.

Could you please investigate this issue and provide a solution that restores the previous layout behavior globally without requiring manual edits on hundreds of existing pages?

    Thank you.

    Hi Terra,

    Thank you for the update.

We checked the website and were unable to reproduce the issue on our end. However, we did notice that the behavior appears to be related to the Blocksy Companion (Premium) plugin.

In our testing, disabling Blocksy Companion (Premium) for at least a minute and then re-enabling it restored the correct page width and layout.

Could you please try the following?

    1. Close any open pages in the Brizy editor.
    2. Deactivate Blocksy Companion (Premium).
    3. Wait for approximately one minute.
    4. Reactivate Blocksy Companion (Premium).
    5. Check the affected pages again.

Please let us know if the issue persists after performing these steps, and we'll be glad to investigate further.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Terra,

    Thank you for your patience.

We've fixed the affected pages on your website.

If you encounter any pages that still have the incorrect width, please open the affected page in Brizy, make a minor change such as adding a space to a text element or adjusting the padding slightly, then click Update to resave the page. This will trigger the page to regenerate and restore the correct layout.

I've created a short screencast demonstrating the process here:

    Ariel H.

Yes, I know how to fix it manually.

The problem is that this website only has around 20 pages. I manage other websites with hundreds or even thousands of pages and products. On those websites, manually fixing every page after an update would be impossible and would require an enormous amount of time.

The real issue is not how to fix the pages individually. The real issue is that a Brizy update changed the layout of existing content that was already working correctly.

Brizy should preserve existing layouts when updating. Please investigate this issue and provide a proper fix on your side. More importantly, changes like this should not happen in future updates, as they can affect entire websites and create a significant amount of unexpected work for your customers.

    Hi Terra,

Thank you for the feedback. I completely understand your concern, especially for larger websites where manually resaving hundreds or thousands of pages would not be practical.

I also agree that updates should preserve existing layouts and avoid introducing unexpected changes to content that was previously working correctly. We've shared your feedback with our developers, and it may take some more time for this issue to be resolved.

We appreciate your patience and the detailed feedback you've provided.

    Kind regards,
    Ariel H.
