Info Membership Functionality

    Hi,

At the moment the users who purchased something from your site have the Customer role, added by default by the WooCommerc. Unfortunately, they can't be assigned automatically with a custom role. This action you can be made manually from the admin dashboard.

At the moment, site visitors can't register and create a user using Brizy form or options. We offer the Log-in possibility. Therefore, it is based on the WordPress log-in form. At the moment, to limit access to a user's account based on the same IP address is complex because the same user can be in different locations and from different devices (he can be at home, at work, in the car/autobus from mobile etc). Anyway, I will inform our team regarding this suggestion.

Yes, we have in our Suggestion list to implement our payment methods but it is added for Brizy Cloud on the Shopping functionality. Therefore, I'm not sure we will add it for WordPress too, as here we have integration with WooCommerce and its possibility and options.

For more other details about the new Membership Brizy Feature, we prepare a new webinar on the 26th of February. See here.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hello Sandra,

so reading your answer our doubts were legitimate.

I understand that at the moment the only payment method is WooCommerce which by default assigns the role of customer but does not assign the roles that Brizy Pro creates (free, silver and gold).

Forgive me but I don't continue to understand the usefulness of this feature.

A customer comes to my site and buys the Gold level through WooCommerce.

WooCommerce or wordpress sends the login credentials.

Then I, the wordpress Admin, have to go to the dashboard and manually assign the Gold level to the customer?

If this feature now works this way it's really disappointing.

I hope to have some clarifications on this.

    Thank you

    Maria

    Hi,

The roles Free, Silver and Golden are custom roles and not from Brizy or WooCommerce. Therefore, they can't be applied automatically to users. The WooComerce have the "Customer" role and this one has applied automatically to all users who purchase a product or service.

Let us know if we can help you with something else.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Dear Sandra,

I state: Brizy and Brizy Pro we like them very much for their simplicity and usability.

That's why we invested in Life Time.

When you write: "The Free, Silver and Gold roles are custom roles and not Brizy's"

I'm sorry but you're saying something that's not true.

Basic Wordpress in the users section does not have the "Roles" function, when you install Brizy pro, the roles function is activated as written here

    https://www.brizy.io/membership-in-brizy-wordpress/

Now if a person at 24:00 goes to my site and buys the Gold level created by following all the steps described in your article, I should wake up because maybe I'm sleeping, log in to my site and manually activate the Gold level for the customer who paid me!

While this approach simplifies the construction of the membership by quickly linking the contents to the user role, on the other hand it does not allow the customer immediate access to the contents of the respective role (Free, Silver and Gold).
The customer after paying will receive access after 24 hours?!

People who buy courses or memberships online want immediate access to what they have bought.

In our experience, since we have several wordpress memberships we should wait for the Brizy developers to integrate this system (of New User Roles linked to the Content created for these new user roles) with a Payment Cart that sends the login credentials to wordpress and assigns the "role" and the product he bought.

I am confident and hope that you will be able to do this in the coming months.

I will follow you on this topic

    See you soon

    Maria

    Hi,

I'm sorry, I want only to highlight the idea that Custom Roles that are created by the admin aren't recognized by WooCommerce. Also, it is a WooCommerce question and the way they manage with users who buy products through them. At the moment, in WooCommerce isn't a possibility to attach a custom role to the user who buys a specific product. By default, they add the "Customer" role for all users who buy from the site. See here.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I am very much confused on this topic. How will Brizy Cloud membership automatically send user credentials based on the plan they purchased if I am using Stripe payment links embedded in a button as the checkout page? How will this transaction happening on Stripe be registered with Brizy so that Brizy knows what plan is assigned to the customer and will send an automated email after purchase?

    Is this possible?

I need my customers to get their login info sent email after they make a purchase without any manual intervention. Is this possible through Brizy Cloud membership?

    Thanks!

    Hi Joseph,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, the specific feature you described is currently not available in Brizy Cloud. When using Stripe payment links, Brizy does not retain transaction records, and clicking on the Stripe payment links will redirect users to another website. Additionally, Brizy Cloud does not automatically send out login information based on the purchased plan from your website.

However, we are actively working on implementing WooCommerce functionality, which is one of our main focuses for this year, as shown in this screenshot—https://i.imgur.com/LqGDG3i.png.
Once this functionality is in place, such features might become possible.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
