Membership Functionality based on cookie
Hi Brizy Team,
I was wondering if there is a possibility to show (or not) blocks based on a custom roles but for not-logged-in visitors. This "role" could be stored in a cookie for example.
Example:
Visitors would have to choose their profession (VET or MED), which would set a cookie to "VET" or "MED", then blocks would display the blocks set for MED or VET.
Is it possible or not?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
Unfortunately, at the moment the Membership functionality is working on the log-in users and isn't possible to create custom roles based on cookies. But I informed our team regarding this feature request and they will investigate this and will make a decision.
Thank you!
Best regards,

Hi Sandra,
It could be a feature that would give a serious advantage to Brizy compared to any other builder.
I feel that it is probably not a major development to extend the Membership Functionality to "Not-logged-in" member roles based on temporary cookies.
To my knowledge, nobody ever thought about this before but this could actually be a game-changer for web developers as they won't have to develop specific pages anymore.
Each pages or blocks of a website could be displayed or not relatively to 1 or several links in the menu which would set a specific cookie (Profession, language, country... ).
Applications could be very large and so easy to use.
Thanks
