New Bug: External Popups Aren't Loading After Updating Content in Brizy Cloud
Hi,
There's a new bug with brizy cloud external popups. If you update any popup content in Brizy, the popup stops displaying on the external website. I only updated a text element in the popup, but my popup will no longer appear on the website. I didn't touch the settings or triggers.
I also can't create new external popups, as they aren't appearing either regardless of the display condition(s).
Pre-existing external popups with no recent content updates are still working...sort of. I can't seem to install a "working" popup on another website or subdomain. The popup won't load on the new domain, though the original installation is working fine.
I haven't found any workarounds. I tried adjusting the pop-up display condition trigger, creating a new popup, installing in header instead of footer. The popup won't display in any scenario. The embed code hasn't changed, but I tried copying that again and reinstalling just in case.
I think I've confirmed this is a bug in Brizy Cloud by updating text in another popup that was live and working right before I edited it in Brizy. It will no longer load directly after I saved the update.
When will this issue be resolved so external popups display correctly after making content updates in Brizy Cloud? If you need more info to recreate the bug I'd be happy to provide it.
EDIT: I found a temporary workaround by editing the .brz .brz-popup2__preview CSS element. The script is actually loading fine on the external site, but the opened state class .brz-popup2--opened is not getting appended to make the pop-up visible.
.brz .brz-popup2__preview
should become the following on load, but it is not working correctly for me:
.brz .brz-popup2__preview.brz-popup2--opened
I don't think there are any issues with my settings to cause this problem. The popup is live/published, with a 1 second delay "on page load" display condition trigger. I tried tweaking the animation/transition settings but that didn't resolve the issue of the "opened" class not loading correctly.
When will this issue be resolved so external popups display correctly after making content updates in Brizy Cloud?
Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for reporting this to us! Also, it is very nice to hear that you already find a workaround for this inconvenience. We will investigate this behaviour and this inconvenience but at the moment in our priorities are Brizy pages, Brizy sites and Brizy projects and if this problem happens on the external site, then we will need a bit more time for investigating and solving this problem.
Thank you for understanding and patience!Best regards,
Sandra0
