Hi there,

Is there any way in brizy to use images linked to web hosted images instead of images uploadied in media files ?

In order to upload faster my customers landing pages, I'd like to use images posted on my Google Photos Account.

If it is possible to do that in brizy, could you please explain me the procedures, or if you have a link that foes explain those procedures.

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, at the moment isn't possible to use images from the web host, cloud or any other source. They should be uploaded in Media Files to be able to access them from here, crop and add them in the Brizy image folder. If images will not be uploaded in the Media Files, they will not be displayed on the Brizy pages.

  Thanks for your quick response.

  I believe that  images can be uploaded to CDN through Shortpixel Adaptive WP PLugin.

  Hi,

  Brizy uses a special method to handle images. Therefore, the original image is saved in the WP Media Library and Brizy takes a copy of it and crops it into 6 examples for retina and non-retina desktop, tablet and mobile devices. If the image is removed from WP Media Library, the reference is missed and the image will not be found in the Brizy pages. In this article, you can find more details about this.
