Brizy WP builder archive page menu
I built a category based menu in the archive template. I chose to style the normal, hover and active differently. Most is working just fine. Although the active was coded with a dotted line border. the dotted line is created, but it only is maintained in the All category. when other categories are selected (filtered) the active setting doesn't change.
if I remove the border coding and just maintain a different color for active it still doesn't change to the active choice.
I also did this in the website main menu. here it works just fine. but not in the blog archive template menu

Hi,
Can you please confirm you have this issue with the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.2.8. and PRO 2.2.5? Also, please send the link to your page so we can see the issue. Thanks.

Hi Alex –
Here is the loom video link https://www.loom.com/share/becccfe2f68f4570be99bca110662c30
- My objective with the active option on the menu was for the selected menu choice to change color or have a border around the text or both. Only 1 item stays colored (or with border before I removed that option). I think it is also the one which is selected at the time that I update the template. In the video it is selected on All. Another time I updated when the template’s menu choice was Virtual tours and the highlight stayed on virtual tours.
- I added the code ‘Enjoy the #Categories Section of Our News’ – I want the display to only show the single menu choice selected, but it displays multiple categories. Is this a brizy template issue? Or is this the way I coded the categories in my Posts?
Thanks

Hi Steve,
thank you for going the extra mile and giving all these details. Did you check this video: https://youtu.be/cWJEetL4f-s?t=749 ? Please note that the Template was created for All Categories, and category links are added to the WordPress menu. They are not custom links. Can you please confirm these things? I didn't see them in the video but I need to check them before creating an internal issue.

Hi Alex -
I did rely upon Dimi's video to create this archive page.
I did create Archive template page, Include / Categories = All
Not custom links

Hey Steve,
you did everything right. I inspected the code a bit and did some more tests and it seems that the .current-menu-item class is not added correctly. It seems to be added only to that link to which the color of the active link has been selected: https://jmp.sh/CWMmomw
I already created an internal issue and we will fix this soon. Thanks for helping us with the debugging process.
