    Hi,

If you have activated the WhiteLabel, to update the Brizy Free and Brizy Pro, you have to open the WhiteLabel option and in such a way, you will be able to see (only in that session) Brizy Free and Brizy Pro in the Plugin list and therefore, you will be able to update them. See here for more details about this and how to activate the WhiteLavel options https://www.brizy.io/white-label/.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I wish to check if there are any new updates on the improvement of the White Label plugin updates? (i.e. able to perform any new plugin updates released without manually switch back to white label options).

I think being able to update the plugin in bulk or remote update is important as it is inconvenient to manually log in to each and every customer's WP dashboard to perform updates.

If the white-labeled plugin can be shown in the installed plugin list that is even better so that customers can decide whether to update or delay the update. Sometimes, Brizy plugin updates can cause conflict with other plugins and cause site crashes.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

do you have the latest Brizy versions: Free - 2.3.15 and PRO 2.3.12? From what I know now you can see the new updates even if the plugin is white label.

Thanks, Alex, I just updated to the latest PRO and yes I can now see the Whitelabel plugin in the plugin list.

Whenever there is an update available for the Pro Plugin, will there be a notification within the WordPress as usual?

the reason I asked is that my previous PRO version is 2.3.10 but there was no notification on the WordPress Installed Plugins page to inform me that there is an update available. I have to manually log in to Brizy.io and download the latest PRO version to update.

Also, I noticed there are no auto-updates in the PRO plugin (I remembered it used to have)

    Hi,

yes, you should see the next update available for your white-labeled plugins. If this does not happen please contact us. I can't check this for version 2.3.10 so we will follow this for the next update.

Re auto-updates: the auto-updates are available only for the free plugin but even so, I would not recommend you to have auto-updates enabled. The problem with auto-updating plugins and themes is that they might break the site, but you may not know about it until hours or perhaps days later.  So I would recommend you to do the updates manually and always have a backup.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for the info.

Agreed. Personally I also never enable the auto-updates in my own websites as I have experience on a few occasions the auto-updates broke my sites.

For the white label, I foresee I will face problems if the update has to be done manually. Reasons because whenever there is an update I have to log in to each and every website of my clients and do it for them manually (i.e. upload the latest plugin, set the white label settings, enable plugin).

    - when my customers grow to a bigger number (say 50+ or 100+), it will become a job just to update the plugin (request for WP login from the customer, upload the latest plugin, set the white label settings, enable plugin)

    - some customers may not allow me to log in to their WordPress dashboard. But I can't just send them the Brizy latest plugin as the default plugin will be under the "Brizy" brand name (not my white-labeled name).

I think the best option is to allow customers to update the plugin themselves, if not mistaken that's also how Elementor Pro updates works.

    Thanks.

If they have PRO activated with the license they will have these updates. Generally, updates should be made by a person who understands how things work, so maybe it would be more beneficial for your customers to take a maintenance extra paid package )
