Brizy Template not applying to Different post type's category

Hi, 

I'm trying to get a Brizy template to apply on my portfolio category pages. What I did was I installed a plugin called Visual Portfolio. Then I created categories inside that.

Next, I went to Brizy template to include the archive type - all portfolio categories.

Then I added the menu button into my home page, so that it appears in my home page and users can access a list of our portfolio:

But for some reason, it leads back to the home page, unlike the category link that leads to the template that I created.

This templated works: https://renesis.com.my/category/case-studies/
but not the portfolio template: https://renesis.com.my/portfolio-category/portfolio/

 

I thought of using a different post type to differentiate between case studies (under "Posts" of Wordpress), and portfolio (Under Visual Portfolio Post type, otherwise, I have to move everything back to the original Wordpress post and create a portfolio category.

  Hi,

  Could you please check if you have the latest Brizy Free 2.2.7 and Brizy Pro 2.2.4 version? If you remove the Brizy template from the Portfolio categories are links to these categories works fine and display the posts from that category? Could you please check this? Could you send us a screenshot with how are displayed the posts and what link is generated for this page?
