    Hi,

Yes, we know about this inconvenience and our team are already working to solve it. We plan to launch the fix in one of the future updates. Unfortunately, I can't say when we will release it but we are doing all the best to launch it as soon as possible.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

I don't understand how this can be possible.

I can see people asking about that months ago. Here's what my logo looks like at the bottom on the site:

And here is what it looks like in the Brizy editor

How is this not your top priority ? It's just basically impossible to build a site with Brizy at this point...

    Hi,

Could you please check if you have the latest Brizy Free 2.2.7 and Brizy Pro 2.2.3 version? We already solved this inconvenience for the Brizy WordPress plugin. If you still found this inconvenience, please upload again the logo on the site. Also, if you allow me to offer you a suggestion, I want to say that if you build a professional site, I recommend uploading the logo in the SVG format. It will allow you to maintain the same quality indifferent by the container size.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Hi and thanks for your answer.

You just said above you didn't know when it will be fixed, and now it's supposed to be fixed ? I'm not sure to understand which is the right one :) I have the wordpress plugin version 2.2.7. Just tried to upload the PNG again, still completely blurry.

And I don't have an SVG version of the logo, but I must precise again that ALL images on the website are blurry, and they are not all convertible to SVG.

Your changelog (https://www.brizy.io/changelog/) is not up to date, so it's hard to know what really has been fixed, but it doesn't seem like the images blur is fixed on the wordpress side of things at least :/

    Hi,

Yes, you are right, 4 days ago I couldn't say exactly when will be released a new update and I didn't want to hide this aspect. Now, I certainly know that we released an update and in this update was released the fix for this issue.
For Brizy Pro, the changelog is updated, you can check it here. For the Brizy Free, we are working to update it. In the next days, we will update it too. At the moment, you can check the WordPress to find the changelog for Brizy Free. See here.
Regarding the problem with the logo and other burred images - could you please send us the URL link of the page where we can check this problem? If you don't want to make it public, let us know and we will delete it before approving your message.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Thanks a lot for this crystal clear answer :)

You can find the issues happening here : https://deckmatic.io

The bottom logo has very small width and height parameters in its URL and I don't understand where it comes from : https://deckmatic.io/wp-content/uploads/brizy/362/assets/images/iW=78&iH=14&oX=0&oY=0&cW=78&cH=14/logo-white-big.png

    Hi,

Thank you for the URL link. We checked it and found that on the header the logo is displaying fine without any problem https://jmp.sh/sHWnH8X. On the footer, the logo is added a small dimension https://jmp.sh/85CMWIA and this makes the logo be blurred. Could you please add in the footer the same logo?
If this is a WP site, could you please something? But, please try ONLY for the logo from the footer block. Therefore, please go to WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity. Here you will find the "Logo" field. Upload here the logo in the bigger sizes you have and then "Publish" the modification you made https://jmp.sh/pvxDYpM. After this, go to the homepage and footer block. Here, instead of the uploading image, select the dynamic element "Site Logo" https://jmp.sh/5uJwIwS. Update the page and preview it. Is all displaying fine?

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Hi and thanks for the answer,

I can't really do the change you're asking for as the site-identity logo seems to be the favicon, so a 512px*512px square logo that shows up in the browser tabs. My logo is not square at all and this would replace the favicon that you can see here :

Any idea how or why the bottom logo ends up with a tiny size when the original image is a lot bigger ? (and why I see it big and clear in the editor?)

    Hi,

Yes, the favicon isn't the site logo. It is the icon that is displayed in the browser tab as you noticed. If you can't do the changes and recommendation I send to you, unfortunately, at the moment we can't do more for this. Our developers are still investigating this inconvenience and working to improve and solve this inconvenience. It is strange behaviour and we are continuing the work on it.
Please let us a bit more time!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

Could you please try to change the theme you are using? Could you temporary activate a WordPress default theme?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,

Hi Sandra, I do also (and still) face this issue with all pictures on the site being blurred out... nothing of the above was helping so far and I´m up to date with everything so far. Could I deactivate Shortpixel in any way to test if it gets better after that? Thx, Robert

    Hello Robert!

Please make sure that you are using the latest Brizy plugin versions, which are 2.3.17 for Brizy free and 2.3.13 for Brizy Pro.

Try to fully reinstall plugins (deactivate, remove, install again)

Clear the website cache and check your page again.

After it, go to Settings --> Permalinks and push the save button. In general WordPress settings, I mean.

    Let me know the results.

    Kind regards,

    Mihail

    Hi Mihail,

thx for the reply. I tried all the above. Deactivating, deleting and reinstalling Brizy and Brizy Pro. Downloaded the latest version of both and installed. Also the Permalinks-suggestion, but in the end it´s still blurry images with the new folder structure within Brizy with this specific link (uploads/brizy/422/assets/images/iW=3840&iH=1052&oX=0&oY=0&cW=3840&cH=1052/).

I was also putting the settings of Shortpixel to lossless, but it didn´t work either.
Is there something else I can try?

    Hello Robert!

Can you add some screenshots or an URL to your website, where we can check your trouble.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Robert.

    Thank you for the link.

Honestly, it doesn't look Blurred for us.

But can you please provide the Original size of the image from my screenshot?

    Kind regards,

    Mihail

    Hi Mihail,

Maybe you can see the (of course slight difference) better in this picture example:
Link1 (test environment) picture is slightly blurry when shown on the website in the Brizy folder structure.
Link2 (Original picture from official main page) (not blurred)
Link3 (also same picture from media library in the test-environment) (not blurred)
If you download all 3 pictures and have a look at it in an image viewer, you will see that the first picture (Link1) is different from those in Link2 and Link3. Somehow the picture is changing in size and pixel when shown on the website and Idk where this comes from...?!?

Nevertheless... is there still any workaround to deactivate the Shortpixel-integration for testing?
It doesn´t seem to be enough to deactivate the current key of Shortpixel...

    PS: sry for the inconvenience.
    Yours, Robert

    Hello Robert!

Sorry for the delay, support is limited on weekends.

But, to investigate it, I did create an internal issue, so we will find the reason for that, and We will contact you when it will be done.

    Kind regards,

    Mihail

Why don't you just post the fix in your documentation? What is the fix? I need the fix! Ha ha, but seriously, I need the fix. Can you direct me please? I cannot go to FB. I do not have an account and do not want one. Thanks.

No, sorry, there is no fix posted there. I had already read that one and that was someone else's issue plus a long and generic description of how Brizy handles images. I already knew that.

I figured this out myself since you didn't provide any answer other than setting the image to original, which is better than what Brizy does to the image, which is to destroy it. So the custom setting should be fixed. Your custom setting in the gallery is blurring the image. We are forced to use original setting and install another plugin and hope it works with the gallery as far as image size. Which I don't think it will.

You seem to have no fix, which makes this app really not very usable if we cannot feature our images. I am so devastated to find out you have placed so little priority on image quality.

So far I tried Perfect Images plugin and that does not work to make the images consistent since I had to turn off the custom setting, which destroys the image quality. It is not working so far. Can you advise as to which third party app you recommend to handle image file sizes so that my galleries will work with consistent sizes? Thanks.

    Hello Armand,

Have a look at a few galleries setup using Brizy

    1. https://viveoceane.com/
    2. https://olesyaphotography.com/portfolio/
    3. https://www.hettenmanor.com/gallery
    4. https://www.babadagyamacparasutu.com.tr/tr/galeri

Do you feel images in these galleries are blurry or do they look normal? Can we see your gallery page where images look blurry? Please share with us the URL of your gallery page.

Usually you do not need a plugin to make images look good on a Brizy page.

    Hi Armand,
    hi KC,

my (nowadays workaround) is to a adjust the images before uploading ... it´s a bit more effort that you have to put in, but works very good if you know the custom image sizes that will work for each individual website ... and if you (eg) only work with 2 sizes (portrait & horizontal), I never had this hassle with regular websites anymore that do not require further adjustments... Yours, Robert

I will try to work with my images in Original and use a plugin to help with resizing. I have resized some but it is not possible for some to make them work. KC's reply just questions my problem. I don't need to be gaslighted. I am not checking other people's sites.

Thank you again to a user who provides a better approach but as I said, that may not solve it as I tried this already. And again, it does not help with Woo product images that are loaded through the third party integration as all POD stores will have. I can't resize those as they come through the Printify integration.

So, KC George, can you please recommend a plugin since Brizy has offloaded responsibility for a core functionality onto the user? What plugin do you recommend? I tried Shortpixel but that did not work.

The real fix is for Brizy to stop compressing images and to allow image adjustments in galleries or custom sized galleries and especially for product images but no custom image destruction. Sorry, I am not looking at other websites. I know my images are blurry. You have this problem for over 5 years and you dare to question another customer with blurry images?

Basically Brizy is lucky there is no other real alternative. The other builders are still clunky and horrible. You would have a total winner were it not for this image handling issue. I mean this is definitely the best builder but for this fatal flaw! If you can fix it, no builder is near Brizy. If you can't, it's a sad fail. I will try and see if I can find a plugin but I do not necessarily have time to resize these images. So again, Brizy, just fix this image handling problem. Don't gaslight me. Pass it on to your team that people are not happy with image quality still. Thanks for your review.

    Hello Armand,

I am sorry; I did not mean to gaslight you. The purpose of sharing other websites was to demonstrate that Brizy gallery is capable of displaying quality images without blur. Once you know that good image quality is possible with the page builder of your choice, the next step will be to find out why it does not happen at your end.

Sharing the URL of the page where the problem is occurring is the most effective way to resolve such problems. This enables us to examine your page and look for potential causes of the lower-quality images. We are also open to check your WordPress Dashboard if necessary to assist you with this problem.

The most recent Brizy versions are incompatible with image optimization plugins. This problem is still being worked on. Using image optimization plugins will have to wait until we are able to release an update with a fix.
