Is there any way to add the slide function to just the objects and not the global block so the background stays the same?

What I mean by this is from what I can see the slide function only seems to be available on the global block settings, not sure they even is a way to group the elements on the page so only they will be in a slide and not the background picture/design but if there is I would love to know.

  Hi,

  You can try using the Carousel element and set it to show only 1 column. This can help you with this task. See here.
