    Hi,

Could you please give us more details regarding the modifications you made? How did you update the site URL?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

Thanks for your reply. I updated as follows:

    1. Updated the domain through Cloudways Application Management > Domain Management following along with these steps as recommended by Cloudways.
    2. Updated the DNS settings at my domain provider.
    3. Then generated new license key for Brizy and updated in WordPress admin panel.

Several months ago I followed the same steps to update domain name from woocommerce-XXXXXX-XXXXXXX.cloudwaysapps.com* to beta.website.com*. This all worked fine and we continued to update the website through Brizy.

Yesterday I used the same steps to update the domain name from beta.website.com to website.com. Then I encountered the errors.

I then noticed that the website was available both with and without www, while only www is desired. So one last time I followed the same steps to update domain from website.com to www.website.com.

    Unfortunately the Brizy errors remained.

    Thanks for your swift reply.

    Best regards,
    Maarten

    * you can find the actual domain detail in my Brizy account history or I can provide it through a private ticket.

P.S. I have the exact same console error as mentioned here: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360074062591-Issues-with-brizy-editor-editor-js-1-issues-something-went-wrong-with-this-page-

    Hi,

If I correctly understand, you build a site in the WordPress with Brizy and now you updated the domain name from beta.website.com to the website.com. Did you migrate the site from subdomain (beta.website.com) to the root folder (website.com)? How did you migrate it? Did you follow all these steps https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-move-wordpress-from-subdomain-to-root-domain/? The link you send us is related about how to register a domain to the Cloudways but in your case, you have to follow some steps to migrate the site from subdomain to the root folder. Only in this case, the site will work fine and all its components.

As a check, could you please create an publish a non-Brizy page? Is it display fine on the preview mode?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Thank you for your reply.

I followed all of the steps in the tutorial you provided. The only noteworthy thing was that I got 2 custom field updates from Step 4: Update URL's. Other than that everything looks to be 100% correct. But the errors still persist.

As you requested I created a non-Brizy page. This displays successfully in preview mode, and after publishing everything is OK as well. However, when I then click edit with Brizy on this newly created page, I get the error again "Something went wrong with the project". What's weird is that after that when viewing the page again, it's blank.

Anyway, other users on this forum with the same problem were asked to provide WP credentials in a private ticket. I would like to do the same of course.

Hope you can help to get it fixed soon, because client is not very happy that the live site is broken :(

    Hi,

Thank you for all these details!
I have created a private ticket on this request. You had to receive a notification regarding this on email. Could you send us in that private message the WP credentials to this site?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra
